Earlier this month we shared the news that the Kyoto box from JourneeBox would include a Kyo ceramic platter, and a furoshiki cloth and wooden handles made in Kyoto. The latest spoilers are the Kyoto Jewelry Collection.

The Kyoto Jewelry Collection from JourneeBox includes your choice of a stunning pair of sakura flower earrings, a sakura necklace, folding fan (ogi) earrings or a folding fan necklace.

I received my Kyoto box today. What a treat! This maybe my favorite Journee so far. Everything is gorgeous and I can’t wait for my furoshiki workshop.

Just customized my box, and I’m so disappointed. This used to be an amazing box, but this one is terrible. A piece of cloth to use for wrapping presents, a virtual tour I have to add on for $45, and really ugly planter, and necklace or earrings, but not both, and a hot pad a oven mitt. Really, such a bad box. I feel cheated.

I customized by box yesterday, but I didnt see the option to add on for a complete set of earrings and necklace. Did I miss that option ? Please advise.

This used to be one of my favorite boxes, but this one just doesn’t do it for me. A necklace without earrings? One of the items is an “ad-on” virtual tour that I have to pay for. Really? Plus, this box was promised to customize in June, then July, it is now Aug. I did an annual sub and it has taken 18 months to get 4 boxes. Please don’t sub to this box until they get their act together. Or if you love it, just do one box at a time. It never comes when promised.

I still haven’t gotten an email to choose and I thought they were supposed to go out in June so I’m a bit confused. I would like to get the fan set because it’s unique but I see they’re set with a half pearl, and there’s a chance they could be set unevenly/ crooked so little nervous about choosing that one.
