There’s a Subscription for That: Photo Books

There’s a Subscription For That is a new series spotlighting subscriptions the team at My Subscription Addiction finds interesting and is excited to share with readers.

Six continents, 23 countries, and 60,323 photos: this is what lies in the camera roll of my iPhone. From the captures of my days gorilla trekking in Uganda, to penguin spotting in Antarctica, to the borderline obsessive degree to which I have photographed my daughter, you might say I like taking a picture or two. Digital memories are great, but in certain ways, there's nothing quite like the real thing- that is, the printed photograph.

What if there were an easy way to take digital captures and carry them over into the tangible world? No-fuss, no great effort- just affordable prints of my favorite photos, landing in my mailbox every month? If you're anything like me, you'll be relieved to know: there's a subscription for that!

Groovebook is a service that seeks to free your photos so you can actually enjoy them. For just $3.99 per month, you add your favorite images in their mobile app (available on iOS and Android devices), and revel in the delights of a photo book landing at your doorstep each month. Each photo book can fill 40-100 pictures of your choosing, presented on 4x6 pages with perforated edges, so you can tear out the images for whatever your plans are. Scrapbooking, card making, picture framing-- whatever your needs may be, this handy book is ready to go there with you. If you can remember the excitement and anticipation of getting film developed at a one hour photo place, the feeling is quite similar.

How can I subscribe to your photo album service? Can my husband and I be under one subscription and get one photo album a month?
