This is such a large bottle for a serum! I’m not complaining. I would say this is a cross between a serum and an ampoule- it has just enough thickness to be a serum, but it’s still really watery the way an ampoule or toner would be. I use this in my routine after my other toners and before my other serums, and it’s a good fit. It layers well in my routine and the formula has multiple peptides which I appreciate. I appreciate how affordable this is, and also that you can purchase it from Ulta- that always makes it feel like it's higher quality to me, even if that isn't actually the case. The one thing I don’t like is the fragrance- fragrances don’t usually bother me, but I didn’t love this one.
This sunscreen was lovely. When a sunscreen is labeled as an essence I’m expecting something lightweight, thin, and easy to apply, and all of those things were true for this sunscreen. It was really hydrating to my skin and left no white cast. Add this to the list of sunscreens I recommend- and you can see me applying it here.
The packaging on this hair product is completely in Korean, so I really had to utilize the Bomibox online description to understand what this is. The formula has seven different nourishing oils like argan, marula, and jojoba, and I used it as a conditioner in my shower routine. If you have thin hair this may be more of a deep conditioning treatment, but my curls soaked this up and I was impressed with how hydrating and nourishing this was for my dry strands.
I’m a big fan of Benton products (I would say they’re a top 5 K-beauty brand for me), and this green tea serum is from their incredibly popular green tea product line. The formula has over 53% green tea extract, and there’s also pantheon and hyaluronic acid. This absorbed really quickly into my skin and felt hydrating without being heavy. This is marketed for those with oily skin and I think those with oily skin would really enjoy it, but my dry skin liked it too!
If the product make didn’t clue you in, this is an exfoliating toner with three different types of acids (AHA, BHA, and PHA). That means this wouldn’t go into my daily routine but rather I would use it two or three times a week. I really like that this formula is free from alcohol and added fragrance, and this is also made with niacinamide and tea tree water. This was gentle and didn’t cause any stinging or burning on my skin- I can see why a bottle of this is allegedly sold every three seconds!
The texture on this is a treat- I had a lot of fun with it. At first glance, I thought it would feel heavy on my skin (it almost looks like the Smashbox photo finish primer, is marketed as a moisturizer that can function as a primer, and has silicones in it), but once I applied the thicker texture to my skin it instantly melted into nothing on my skin. I was impressed with how lightweight and soothing this actually was. The formula features the star ingredient, grape extract, at an 81% concentration, and this is also made with apricot and grape seed oil.
I’ve used this sheet mask before, and I’m a fan. Like the serum above this formula has multiple peptides in it, and I found the formula to be really hydrating to my skin. The thin mask fit my face well, and I was able to comfortably relax with it on for 20 minutes while watching the Olympics.
This mask featured the same thin sheet mask material with a little stretch, which means it fits my face really well. The gel essence this mask was saturated with felt really cooling on my skin, which is an added bonus along with the ingredients list that features the soothing centella asiatica. This would be perfect after a hot shower, or just whenever your skin needs a boost. Then again, I don't believe your skin *needs* a reason to sheet mask, and so this would work well if you are masking for the self-care ritual rather than any potential skin benefits, too.
The Verdict: I thought this was a quality box from Bomibox- I love that we received a full-size sunscreen, and that hair treatment ended up being a big star for me this month. The box overall was well-curated- there is a little something for everyone here, and my skin enjoyed all of the products. With three full-size products along with the three minis and two sheet masks, it definitely feels like I got my money’s worth even if the math doesn't reflect the highest value (by my estimates, everything adds up to $46.14). Values with K-Beauty products should always be taken with a grain of salt because of the difficulty in finding some products and the difference in prices sometimes depends on if you're buying from a US-based seller or an international one. This is a box where personal value really comes into play, and I was satisfied this month.
To Wrap Up:
Can you get this box if you sign up today? No, your first box will be August 2021.
Value Breakdown: At $39.00 for this box, you're paying approximately $4.87 per item.
I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I haven’t gotten to try any Frudia products yet, but I’ve got my eye on the brand!
