Every season Rachel Zoe and the CURATEUR team will hand-curate more than $400 worth of their favorite fashion, beauty, and lifestyle items. The box costs $99.99 per quarter and ships to the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. This box seems to always have a wearable fashion item of some sort, usually a piece of jewelry, skincare and makeup, and a home or lifestyler item, making it feel very well-rounded. It is not uncommon to see CURATEUR-exclusive items that are one time collaborations with higher-end designers.

First Impressions
My box arrived with a handy booklet full of info and pretty, editorial-style imagery. This booklet always feels like a fancy little magazine and the extra info on the brands/designers is a nice element that makes the box feel well-rounded and fashion-forward.
What's Inside the Box
Parrish LA Stevie Poncho - Listed Value $148
I am admittedly not a poncho person but if I have to wear a poncho, one like this will certainly do! The color-blocked stripes make it feel a lot more structured than a poncho usually does and the knit is tight and a nice medium weight. I wish it wasn't 100% acrylic but at least I know it will be easy to care for. The design makes it look like the piece has sleeves when you wear it but while they aren't attached, the weight of the material keeps them in place nicely. Against all odds, I do think this will be a layer I reach for this fall and if you are someone who gets chilly in the office, it would also be a winner for a quick little stylish layer in a color palette that will go with so many things.
Here are a few shots in my backyard. Will did a pretty good job this time, although I didn't upload the ones with my mouth hanging open or some of my head cut off.
Naaem Khan Rose Candle - Listed Value $95
I was hoping to see a candle in this box! They feel so fall and I am ready to enjoy their warmth and glow in the upcoming chilly nights. This one is scented with a lovely rose fragrance that does feel a little summer, but since we are technically between seasons, it works for me. If you aren't a rose fan, I am not sure you are going to love this, but even if you end up regifting, the votive it arrived in is stunning enough to impress. It is textured with a bead-like pattern and coated in an iridescent finish that is especially lovely with the glow of the candle peeking through.
Here it is on my mantle.
Nuori Vital Repair Serum, 1 fl oz - Listed Value $60
FYI: Though this serum is advertised from CURATEUR as being "a serum from Nuori’s skincare line not available from the brand’s store", it seems to share an ingredient list with the Nuori Sun Repair Serum.
I don't know a whole lot about this brand, but the ingredient list is where I generally start for a skincare item, regardless of brand. This one is pretty solid and focused on calming skin, boosting it with antioxidants, and adding moisture. The big ingredient callouts are moisturizing hyaluronic acid, calming chamomile, soothing aloe, brightening vitamin C, and more. Visually, this is a white cream with a medium weight and quick absorption. After application, I really didn't feel much of anything which makes this a great choice for underneath makeup during the day.

Fekkai's Shea Butter Intense Oil, 1.7 fl oz - Retail Value $28
I can never seem to get enough oils. And this is a body + hair oil blend in a very pretty bottle, so I was helpless not to choose it. This is absolutely not an oil I would ever use on my face (hello coconut oil) but I loved its lightweight finish and moisturizing power on my legs and elbows. Because it has wonderful oils inside like jojoba, sunflower, shea, prickly pear, and castor, it gives a nice sheen and long-lasting nourishment to my skin, somehow without any grease or film. It also makes for a great lightweight hair oil, taming flyaways and adding shine in a snap. It has a very, very light scent that is nutty, floral, and sweet, with just a hint of coconut.

Jillian Dempsey's Kohl Black Eyeliner - Retail Value $20
I mean I always have a hard time waxing poetic about a black eyeliner but this one is well pigmented, smooth, and buttery. The blending end makes a smokey eye in a snap!

Oma the Label Abuja Bracelet - Retail Value $29
FYI: This brand site states this bracelet is 6.5 inches with a 1-inch extender. Mine measured pretty close to that (see below). This piece is 18k gold plated brass.
Gold bracelets have always been an on-trend and stylish option because you can wear them solo or stack them for a custom layered look. This particular one has an interesting chain style that feels very unique. It has a good weight (not too heavy but heavy enough to feel substantial) and features a strong clasp and extender.
OR
Oma the Label Timepiece Bracelet - Retail Value $89
FYI: The bracelet site lists this bracelet measuring 7 inches. My tape measure suggests it's a little shorter than that. This piece is 18k gold plated brass.
I loved the slightly more industrial look of this watch band-inspired bracelet but I feel like the non-adjustable size might be a make or break for some subscribers. It feels exactly like a nice quality watch band: heavy, sturdy, and easy to love.
My wrist is about 6 inches at the smallest point but closer to 6.5 inches where I like my bracelets to sit. I found this bracelet pretty comfortable!
And here is a shot with my tape measure. I hope it helps you decide if your choice is based on bracelet length!
Verdict
This quarter's CURATEUR felt like it landed better than the Summer box, at least for me. I actually quite liked the poncho (who am I?) and thought the bracelets were both great choices and on-trend for this season. I also loved the candle and its rose scent, as well as the oil and the serum. It was nice to not see a scarf in sight, especially as those are such easy "fall box" items that I don't often use. This is always one of those boxes that people are either going to love immediately or maybe have less exciting feelings over, but for me, this felt like a win.
