Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus-size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- You’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials as you shop.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your cart or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call Fabletics customer service to do so.

Fabletics Plus Size "Accelerate Outfit" Review
I will be reviewing the Accelerate outfit that consists of the Oasis Twist Sports Bra and High-Waisted PureLuxe Crossover 7/8 Leggings.
Oasis Twist Sports Bra in Surf Blue, Retail Value $59.95 (VIP Price $44.95) or buy as a set for $124.90 (VIP Price $69.95)
When perusing my Fabletics choices monthly, I try to select an outfit since it is at a discounted rate and I don't have to mess with coordinating pieces. Not only did I find a perfectly matched gym ensemble, but it has my favorite of all the Fabletics sports bras: the Oasis Twist! I have sung my praise of this particular style various times, one example being my November 2020 review. I love the high-impact variety for hardcore working out, but this is a style I can not only wear at the gym but in place of a regular bra. Working from home has altered me, my friends. I went from the weirdo that couldn't sleep without a bra on to the person that needs to be coaxed to put one on to even go to the store. Bolder holders annoy me and this style is comfortable as can be. No gripes, plus how cute is that peek-a-boo of skin near the under boob cleavage space. This Surf Blue isn't normally a shade I would scoop up, but as soon as I got it on I loved it. It isn't too light like a pastel, it is right in the middle. This is a sports bra I will wear at the gym and also while running errands. I am so pleased to add yet another shade of this style to my collection!
High-Waisted PureLuxe Crossover 7/8 Leggings in Surf Blue, Retail Value $74.95 (VIP Price $59.95) or buy as a set for $124.90 (VIP Price $69.95)
I was a bit leery of these matching leggings due to the cross-over style on the waistline. I wasn't sure if it would uncomfortably cut into my belly, but to my relief, they fit rather well. Also, the high waist is actually a true high waist-- heck yes! I prefer a higher waist to ensure when I am moving at the gym (or at Aldi) that I don't have to readjust myself. The stretch is ample, but these also provide great compression. One could easily wear these leggings with a black or white sports bra or for errands wear with sneakers and an oversized vintage band t-shirt.
Verdict: This month's Fabletics ensemble is one of my tamer, more subdued sets, but less is more sometimes, right? This set is comfortable, the waist on the leggings is high and supports me well, and the Oasis sports bra continues to remain one of my all-time faves. I would say that is a total success! I was elated to see that this outfit's largest size offered is the 4x-- I hope this becomes more of a consistent option. Not only should Fabletics provide every piece in a 4x, but they need to branch out to even a 6x. Size inclusivity and visibility are immensely important. I can recognize in the last ten years the advancements made by a variety of plus-size clothing brands. I am not an ingrate, but I also refuse to stop asking for more than crumbs as a consumer. There's money on the table that is being left by ignoring sizes above a 22 and 24. I love the wider selections that Fabletics has offered in my 3x size range and that they update their site with new styles every Thursday, but I want to see my fellow bodacious friends in sizes 26, 28, 30, and 32 have the same options. Let's make this happen, Fabletics: activewear is for every size! Your pieces are of some of the highest quality items and the best designs, but you also manage to offer some of the best deals and sales out there! I love you for all of this, but I implore you to keep on keepin' on and opt to dress all of us larger people in fantastic lounge and activewear, pretty please? I loved this month's selections and can't wait to see what is in store for the next-- are you are excited as I am?
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? I am glad to say that this set is available still! Sign up here to nab these and other plus-size workout gear from Fabletics.
Value Breakdown: The Accelerate outfit retails for $124.90, but after the VIP discount, I managed to only spend $69.95! That means I saved a total of $54.95 which is roughly a 44% savings! Not too shabby!
