JourneeBox has taken subscribers on an adventure to Japan this month with delivery of the Kyoto Box, a curated collection of goodies from the East Asian country. And now the brand is letting non-subscribers get a little piece of the action too!
The Deal: The Kyoto Box add-on JourneeLive workshop, a Sacred Mountain Virtual Walking Tour, is now on sale for $50 for non-subscribers with this link! Subscribers get preferential pricing, of course, at $45 with free shipping — use this link to get your subscriber discount!
The virtual walking tour will take you to visit Fushimi Inari, Kyoto’s sacred mountain, and its hundreds of shrines. You'll get to "walk" between the famous thousand red torii gates, and learn the inside scoop of ancient Japanese meditation traditions. Conducted in English, the tour will be led by tour guide Lee, who will be joining virtually from his home in Kyoto.
The tour will be held September 18 at 3 p.m. PDT, and capacity is limited — so JourneeBox is encouraging people to sign up now to snag a spot.
Wait, why would a virtual tour have shipping costs? Not only will you get a chance to watch Lee's tour, but there is a small bundle of items that you'll get sent directly to your doorstep that work in conjunction with the tour:
- A Sakura blossom bracelet
- A packet of Japanese shrine incense
- A packet of 3 postcards
- A good luck omamori shrine amulet
