Well, these don’t look very exciting at all unfortunately. I wanted to skip this month but they would cancel my Glam Bag X for Nov which I’ve been looking forward too…so the mascara from IL Makiage is a great deal & pretty much worth the price of the bag, we’ll see what else they come up with for me…

Oof. With the price increase and these ridiculously mediocre spoilers, this is such an easy pass. Man, Ipsy has just been stinking it up lately.

Drat. I just signed back up. These items were in previous bags and didn’t do much for me. But now that perfume is an absolute deal breaker. Perfume triggers migraines for me. I just want to cancel again. Drat.

Already seeing those hikes and just got a raise to be up to date with surrounding states in my field. I guess it doesn’t matter when I could work at McDonald’s with less stress even tho I have a bachelor’s. Which is easily obtainable now adays.

This isn’t exactly an exciting bag, but I absolutely LOVE the Il Makiage mascara so if I can choose that, it’s worth it for the bag. I’ve ordered at least 8 more of those since first receiving one in a GBP, so for me anything I get in addition to the mascara would be a bonus since it’s $25 when I buy it plus shipping. I’m due for a new tube anyway…it is seriously the best mascara I’ve ever used. Random warm-toned lipglosses are blah, I do wish the spoilers leaned more dark and vampy for October.

I’m hanging on for the Toyko Milk so if I don’t get it as a choice, it will officially be the end of my relationship with Ipsy. I have product overload, the sub has been getting worse by the month and I’m just about over them. But I love Margot Elena scents and I’ve been wanting to try the French Kiss. I have Honey and the Moon and Dead Sexy and love them both. I actually skipped my next Margot Elena sub because I already have half the stuff it’s coming with.

I LOVE my “Margot Elena” box more than any Sub Box. I just Recvd the Fall Box & it’s Awesome. The Fall box contained the New Perfume Line “She” which smells just as Wonderful as the Tokyo Milk, Lollia etc! Recvd small rollerball Perfume & Candle. You can still order thru Margot Elena site anytime to receive your Fav. My FAV perfumes HAD to order; Dead Sexy & Tokyomilk ‘Kabuki’ 09… now I’ll have to order @ least sample size French Kiss bcuz of your Review. There’s something about the “Honey & Moon” I didn’t like;( I’ve been trying to figure out (or Remember) What/Why I don’t want to smell the ‘Honey & Moon’ it’s triggering some kind of Bad Memory for Me. I’d gift it to you but for 1St time JUST noticed we can Not give our #’s/Emails :0 On another note I’m Done w/IPSY effective this Month. I Recvd Duplicate Palette of IL Makiage & couldn’t use the 1ST time Recvd. (way too dark)

RIGHT?! You’d THINK with another price increase that they would give us some kind of WOW factor and so far, NONE of these are it for me. I do like the Tokyo Milk perfume, but I’m most likely going to skip this bag! TERRIBLE ” spoilers”!

Unfortunately the price increases are due to the rapid inflation currently happening in our Country. Everything has gone up and that effects raw materials etc. So I don’t expect the product mix to get any better – Ipsy is just trying to cover thier costs. Be prepared to see hikes everywhere

I had resubscribed after several months pause and September had me so underwhelmed that I cancelled again, especially after seeing spoiler for October.

To be fair, when you pause for a while, there’s little information for them to go by when you unpause. If you buy things in sales, flash, etc. that’s pretty much all they have to go on. If you haven’t purchased anything it’s very temporarily like starting over. That happened to me this month after being paused after the May bag. My bag is terrible. I’m keeping one thing and donating the rest. I wish Ipsy, who owns Boxy, would use the same brands as boxy!! Their brands are great compared to IPSY’s now nearly all indie makeup brands and skincare whose ingredients don’t match what you would buy in store (same for Boxy there) -Mainly the “high end” skincare. Ingredients shouldn’t be taken away, added or made in another country without Ipsy/Boxy telling us! In some cases it really doesn’t make a difference, but in others-it REALLY does. I don’t appreciate the deception.

O love this bag! It’s very on trend, I start celebrating “spooky season” on September 1st so love the Vampire fangs on a black background. The products look a lot better than the past few months too.

Or just be skipping until I really like a bag maybe not since I don’t wear makeup anymore so what’s the point I’m only here for the skincare and usually from the bag you Only get one to two items that are very good .. for 28 is it worth it? Hum.

I sub to Allure just for skincare. I have settings to not receive it from Ipsy because as you probably know Ipsy alters the ingredients of most of their “high end” and not so high end skincare. Also, how much skincare can you really use? It will all stack up and end up expiring. With Allure you get 5 products as well. They usually throw in something extra like a mask or perfume. You get deluxe samples and from all of my boxes so far, 3 full size products. Their skincare is legit. The ingredients in them is what you will find in stores, unlike Ipsy. August’s box had a N.M.F. Intensive Hydrating Mask (an extra), 111Skin Y Theorem Day Cream Nac Y2 (FS), Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Hyaluronic Acid Toner (DS), *Clarins Total Eye Lift (DS)-members received one of four items and I got Clarins. Happy I did. Beautaniq Beauty Blush Serum (FS), Real Her Metallic Bronze Eyeliner. If you’ve never been a member there’s usually a free sign up bundle or gifts. There are also member perks. 🙂

I’m with you on ALLURE! I love my box each Month!! I did not know that about IPSY but wish I had known prior to this Months Ipsy Plus. Before I have my Bank go after IPSY…Can anyone tell me WHY IPSY charged my Account for the IPSY Bag Plus AND the $50+ for the Halsey Box? I’m sorry the Halsey box was Not worth close to $80..

I’m in the same boat. I am getting September but pausing Oct. and then seeing after that. No way am I signing up for a year to get the lower cost.
