There should be a warming somewhere, I did not know that the products in the base box are all crap by default, but I wish I had done my research. I’ve been with Ipsy which I absolutely love but I decided to take a short break (after they raised the price) and experience getting a different beauty box. Boxycharm has such high ratings (?) that I decided to try it. I saw the 50% off code and jumped on it, not realizing what I’m getting myself into. There was a beauty quiz, but unlike Ipsy, Boxycharm just put it there to confuse innocent souls who think they would be getting a box based on their preferences! Nowhere in my quiz I selected any makeup or eye products. And that’s all I got. Just a bunch of crap that I don’t need. First thing I did when I opened my box was to cancel it!

This is the type of warning I wish I had seen before throwing my money to the wind. Oh Ipsy, how I miss now your heavy box of serums, face washes, scrubs and face masks!!

For reference here is the bunch of crap I received for 12.50.

Caveat emptor. This code will provide a box of junk for you. If you’re interested in BC, it’s far better to use the gift code for new subscribers. You will get items from this month’s array, not random clearance stuff.

Go to the Boxycharm site. There are three coupon choices plus you’ll get a $10 credit towards the monthly shop. You won’t get a choice for October, but you’ll get an October box .

Would advise anyone who wants to use this code to look up the boxes people received in September using it.

They are… not something that I personally would want to pay $12.50 for.

I used this code last month and recieved the worst box imaginable. The products weren’t worth the 12.50. It was an array of total C-R-A-P. DLS brands, hair gel on a mascara wand – you get the picture. I canceled because if that was a prelude to what was coming next, I didn’t want any.

Yes I got the last months box too with the code it was aweful and wanted to get rid of the whole box the only decent thing I got was the blinc palette
