Fabletics Plus Size "Daydream Outfit" Review
I will be reviewing the Daydream outfit that consists of the Avah Color Block Cut Off Sleeve Crop Top and High-Waisted Motion365 Color Block Shorts.
Avah Color Block Cut Off Sleeve Crop Top in Tropical Water/Aloe Size 3x, Retail Value $59.95 (VIP Price $44.95)
Fabletics had quite a few items I was eyeballing for this month's review, but I simply couldn't pass up this set. Most of the items I review in terms of tops are sports bras, so I was excited to get this crop top style. I love this cool aloe shade; it is such a pretty pastel. The fabric has ample stretch and a slight compression. I would still wear a sports bra if I had this on at the gym, but I do feel supported well in this piece. I love the top combined with the biker shorts in this set, but one could easily wear this with denim shorts or a skirt outside of the gym too. This could look really adorable with an abstract floral print skirt and platform wedges.
High-Waisted PureLuxe Crossover 7/8 Leggings in Pixie/Tropical Water/ Aloe Size 3x, Retail Value $64.95
Is it just me or do these shorts make you think of the movie, Tron? I would love these a whole bunch more if they lit up on the Tropical Water and Aloe stripes--don't you agree? Either way, I love these shorts, but mainly on the contingency that these only be worn with the top included. The style on these shorts is just so distinct and specific! If you do want to break the set, I can envision wearing these shorts with a pastel floral print sports bra or a white tank top and sneakers. The material on the shorts is similar to the top-- incredibly easy and comfortable to wear with loads of stretch. I am also pleased to say the cut and fit on these are great-- the opening on the thighs don't painfully cut into mine like some other brands and styles might. Overall, I am rather pleased!
Verdict
This month's Fabletics ensemble makes me think of a My Little Pony doll called Minty combined with an 80s Aerobics Barbie-- and I am not mad about it! The colors are serene and calming, yet fun and fashionable. They speak to this elder millennial! The fit of this outfit is great-- I feel completely held in both pieces. There is no concern about having to readjust my top or shorts in the middle of a workout. I am excited to say that this is another outfit that is offered in up to a size 4x too! I will give Fabletics props in that regard, but I do hope to see them expand their range up to a 6x. I often suggest Fabletics due to the variety of styles and quality, but I want to be able to suggest this brand to my friends that are a size 26 and beyond! My size 30 and 32 friends would love to be able to scoop up some Fabletics as well! I sound redundant making this observation/plea each month, but I won't stop. Fabletics is a mindful and inclusive brand; I truly foresee them going in this direction. Till they do, however, I will keep addressing this. Can't stop, won't stop! This all being said, I am consistently pleased with the items I receive monthly and am excited to see what's in store for next month. Are you as excited as I am?

Value Breakdown: The Daydream outfit retails for $124.90, but after the VIP discount, I managed to only spend $59.95! That means I saved a total of $64.95 which is roughly a 52% savings! Not too shabby at all!
