What's Inside The Box
Figs & Rouge Blurring Primer, 30 ml - Listed Value $50.98
I really love the modern aesthetic of this packaging. It looks like something an ‘influencer’ would have sitting on their vanity. The primer itself is fabulous. It’s ultra-lightweight, and the texture feels like a mix of gel and silicone, without the formula actually containing any silicone. I can’t really place the scent. It smells sweet and delicious but is light and dissipates quickly. The product does contain ‘alcohol denat,’ so I found it to be a bit drying on my face. But since I have fairly oily skin, it didn’t create any crumbly, cakey look underneath my makeup -- but more so gave me a matte finish. If you have dryer skin, this may be something you would want to be aware of. The primer applied smooth and light to my skin and created a good base for my concealer and makeup. I did wait a few minutes after applying the primer before layering anything on top because the product did go on a little wet, and giving it time to dry down definitely made a difference in how smooth my foundation looked.
Commodity 'Paper, 5 ml - Estimated Value $13
I’m not the hugest fragrance fan, so I always feel a touch biased reviewing products like this. But I have to say, as far as fragrances go, this one is similar in quality to high-end brands that I have experienced in the past. The strong alcohol that fragrances tend to have is mild and dissipates very quickly, leaving behind a delightful blend of sweet amber, a very crisp earthy, woodsy scent that lightly clings to skin and is not at all overpowering. Lightweight and effortless, this product is 40% amber, 45% skin musk, and 15% iso E super, which I believe is what creates the pleasant dry cedar-like scent. Overall, as someone who has never been a huge fragrance fan, I found this scent very enjoyable and would definitely wear it. The fragrance doesn’t last all day, but I smelled it for several hours after application. This is definitely a good item to keep in my purse and spritz on before dinner out or an event.
Chella Manifest Bronze Eyeshadow Palette Travel Size, 4 g - Listed Value $20
I really enjoy these travel-size eyeshadow palettes from Chella. I’ve received one in the past and really like how compact it is while still having everything you need to create a neutral eye look. I thought this particular color quad had some fabulous shades -- it includes three shimmers and one matte. The three shimmers -- Charisma, Radiant, and Intention -- are super creamy and pigmented. They apply smoothly and are buildable and blendable with very little fallout. I really love the touch of gold in Radiant, combined with the darker chocolatey shimmer of Intention. The matte -- Purpose -- while not as creamy or pigmented as the shimmers, is definitely buildable and goes well with my skin tone as a great base. This convenient travel size palette is definitely going in my beautification on-the-go bag.

Vitabrid C12 Daily-C Balancing Cleansing Balm Melt Away Sorbet, 90 g - Listed Value $48
This cleansing balm came just in the nick of time. I was almost out of makeup remover, and I love that I get to try a new product. While the brand isn’t new to me, I had never tried their cleansing balm, and I have to say, this is the good stuff. It easily removed all my makeup and left my skin feeling good and hydrated. I did a double wash, going in with a regular cleanser afterward because I do have oily skin, and with how hydrating this balm is, I’m almost certain I would break out. But I was very impressed with how easily this product broke down and removed even my waterproof mascara. It has a light, natural-smelling citrus scent, and what I also love is that the product came with a spatula. I personally think any product in jar packaging should include one. ‘Melt Away Sorbet’ is definitely the perfect name for this delightfully-scented, hardworking balm.
The Beauty Crop Oui Cherie Lip Oil, 2.5 ml - Listed Value $12
I moisturize my lips obsessively. I have to because I’m a stress sleeper who grinds their teeth at night and is forced to wear a mouthguard, which has turned me into a mouth-breather, making my lips incredibly dry and chapped. This lip oil smells divine -- a light fruity scent that reminds me more of banana-strawberry than cherry. It has a standard doe foot applicator and glides on my lips, nice and smooth. It lasts for hours and softens and hydrates my lips, leaving behind a subtle glossy shine. I also really like that it doesn’t feel sticky or leave behind any gummy residue. It’s definitely provided me some relief from dry and chapped lips. A super-fun bonus is that this lip oil contains a pH color-changing oil that works with everyone’s unique pH levels to create a custom color, giving you a perfect shade while hydrating your lips. For me, it appears as a nice, natural pinkish flush.
Verdict
This is my second GlossyBox, and this one impressed me as much as the first. I enjoy every single product included in this month’s curation. I’m thrilled to have the Vitabrid C12 cleansing balm -- it removes all my makeup easily; even stubborn eye makeup. The travel size Chella eyeshadow palette is wonderfully pigmented and a great compact, all-in-one palette with everything I need to create a neutral eye look. I also was really surprised that I enjoyed the Commodity ‘Paper’ fragrance. I love how light and unique the sweet woodsy scent is, without leaving any harsh alcohol smell lingering after application. My new obsession is definitely this Beauty Crop Oui Cherie lip oil. I really enjoy the scent and how it nourishes and softens the skin on my lips. I also love the unique addition of the pH color-changing formula. Lastly, the Figs & Rouge blurring primer -- I’m really happy with how lightweight and gel-like this product is, and it seems to work well under my makeup, without causing any breakouts. Overall, I think this was a really great box, and I am honestly excited to see what GlossyBox does for December.
