We have the glam bag design reveals for the December 2021 Ipsy Glam Bag and Glam Bag Plus!

Glitter! Glitz! Glam Bag! December’s sparkly designs are here to help you feel (and look) like a diamond all holiday season long. These festive bags are perfect for stashing shimmery accessories while you travel to see fam or taking the spotlight as a night-on-the-town clutch.

Curious about how we come up with our Glam Bag aesthetic? IPSY’s bag designer Joanne Wong is giving a behind-the-scenes look at the process, from inspo to design to construction.

Here is the bag design for each subscription:

Glam Bag

December’s Glam Bag is a NYE dream come true. The metallic pink faux leather is slightly textured to give the illusion of glitter and sparkles—with dainty gold accents for an elevated touch. As Wong tells us, this design was carefully curated with your outfits in mind. “Take it to all your holiday parties this year! The just-right pink was chosen to perfectly accent any holiday looks, from LBDs to sequins to bold red lips,” she explains.

Glam Bag Plus

You know we love a multitasking moment, so it comes as no surprise that the Glam Bag Plus pouch holds gifts just as easily as it holds your five full-sized products—go green and reuse your Glam Bag Plus as a gift bag! “Pop your gift and card inside the bag, pull the drawstring cords to close the bag, then tie a bow at the top—it’s so easy and so cute,” says Wong. The super-soft fabric, blush hue, and gold details (like tiny stars and a shiny drawstring cord) will look super chic under any tree.

Would have preferred the Plus bag print on the regular bag.

I wouldn’t mind it, but only if the glitter is on both sides. Some of ipsy’s prettiest bags are a disappointment because when they show up, the design is only on one side of the bag.

Sooooo tired of the pink bags!! Come on Ipsy get creative! I know I have the lowest tier box you offer, but there’s so many beautiful colors and designs out there you could choose from and the pale pinks seem incessant!

Agree. It’s not even a good hue of pink. Give us fabulous solid colors!
