Community Reviewers Wanted: Co/Reviews Are Coming in 2022

Here at MSA, our writers know a thing or two about subscriptions. They get to sample new subs as soon as they hit the market, test out all kinds of different products, and opine about which boxes are the best around. They’re bona fide experts when it comes to the world of subscriptions, but they’re not the only ones…

Our community is filled with OGs who’ve been subscribing for years, indie box lovers who seek out under-the-radar subscriptions, and fans of niche categories that aren’t often featured in our regular feed. Bead boxes? Cat boxes? Geek boxes? You guys have tried them all. You’ve asked to see more reviews from readers, and we totally agree. Readers bring a unique perspective that we want to see more of at MSA.

Community reviews, which we’re calling co/reviews, are launching in 2022.

Here’s how it’ll work: when we have boxes in need of community reviewers, we’ll post in the Forum with details about what the box is all about, how many reviewers are needed, and how to volunteer. (The Forum launches in early January. If you’d like to be one of the first to join, you can sign up for the forum waitlist below!) If you’re selected to participate in a co/review, we’ll ship you the box and send over questions to consider along with instructions for submitting your review. Spoiler alert: the first co/reviews up for grabs will be in the categories of crafting and meal kits.

We’re so excited to explore this new review format with you all, and we can’t wait to see your community reviews on a wide range of different subscriptions!

Questions about co/reviews? Excited to participate? Let us know in the comments!

Hi MissBlair0220. I’m so glad you’re excited about this new community review program!! You’re definitely not too late. Just make sure you sign up for the forum when it goes live (if you signed up for the waitlist, you’ll get an email when it launches) and then keep an eye out for community review opportunities. The first ones should go up in a couple of weeks!

Looking forward to this as well as the forum. I hope I get an opportunity to do a community review – that sounds like a lot of fun! I’m happy to sacrifice, er, I mean offer, my kitties and/or pups to assist as needed. 🙂

How fun! Maybe I will volunteer my (very photogenic) cat for one of the boxes lol.

Exciting! Have you tried Smalls for cat food? I’m on the MSA team and am currently searching for someone from the community to review it!

I am over the moon excited to get a chance to be part of a review! Can you tell I just watched Sing2?!! Bono is in the house. If you are a U2 fan you should see this movie.

I would love to be considered for all things spooky.

I subscribe to like 5 boxes but the one I miss the most is the Loot Horror Crate. It was such a trainwreck with the delays and ownership change that I was surprised to get the remaining boxes in my subscription. Easily one of my favorite boxes though, because i love all things spooky!
