Would have been nice if Leo addressed the very long delayed box. This customer service borderlines the horrific Oui Please and that is a definite insult.

I would get the teal one if it had the necklaces instead of the earrings. I love teal, but I don’t like small earrings that much.

Yep, it’s been a L O N G time since we heard anything about the “expedited” replacement Riviera box…

MSA – do you have any information about the upcoming box (the Riviera Maya box, which was formerly the Nottingham box)? And if not, are you able to get some status information for us since you seem to be in communication with them? There was a chocolate bar spoiler about a month ago I think, but the last real update we got was early November, and since then, total radio silence. I 100% get the supply chain issues, but it really doesn’t take much to communicate with subscribers, and that’s been very absent and very frustrating.

Hi Sherri,

The brand let us know that there will be more spoilers coming in the next 2 weeks! I’ll see if there’s any more info we can get for you in the meantime. Thanks!

So it sounds like they definitely won’t be arriving for the holidays then.

Parker

Since they buy all their stuff from China and brand it with their name I can understand the silence as they probably don’t know when it will get loaded off the ships.

Your post is factually inaccurate. Kyoto Box had 4 of 6 of the main items made in Kyoto, Japan from companies founded dating back to the 1930’s. We held two live from Kyoto workshops. If you had gotten the Box you would see that we label our items with country of origin as well as giving credit to the companies we support. Your remarks are disparaging the companies that made the goods for my Kyoto Box.
The Mexico Box items will primarily be made in Mexico. The Mexican cacao company we sourced for the chocolate bar, Ah Cacao, was recognized by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy as a socially responsible company for their nature conservation efforts and they work directly with farms that harvest cacao seeds used for chocolate production in their zero emissions, rooftop solar powered facility – in Mexico.
The raving reviews you refer to are due to the quality of our products. Having provided goods to some of the largest women’s lifestyle boxes in the US, I stand behind the high quality and value of my products. – Kevia Jeffrey-West

Leo — Is there any update on the next box? Our last box arrived 6 months ago, and you mentioned in another post that chocolate bundles (which were to be offered as an add-on to the Riviera Maya box) would arrive by the holidays. I’m assuming that is no longer the case, but is there an ETA for when shipments will begin?

Parker

Leo- perhaps for this box as manufacturing in Mexico is cheap but your other boxes are straight from Alibaba/Express. I find all your items in your boxes on there.

Leo@Journeebox

Hello, I am happy to share that we import from all around the world. Each box normally has goods made in 2-3 countries due to our international supply chain. 90% of the Mexico box was made in Mexico. 5% made in the USA and 5% made in China by one of our vetted partners. We design the majority of our products, the rest are curated based on regional trends.
