November 2021: "Spice of Life"
This month's Heart + Honey theme is Spice of Life. I was trying to figure out what spice had to do with November...and duh, Thanksgiving! And while I doubt this was the reasoning for the theme name, I'm going to go with it. Also, in romance, spicy time can be anytime. I'm expecting to receive items that are adventurous and maybe even a little daring.

Let's start our review off with a beverage known for its delicious spice- the chai tea latte. I am a chai tea fan and this is generally thrown into my coffee house rotation. This item is an entire chai tea kit allowing one to make their own drink. Super excited about this! The kit contains five servings of tea which include the tea drops and the condensed milk. The directions are easy to follow. I boiled hot water, added my tea drop, and then poured in my creamer. While there are no measurements to follow, I interpreted the measurements as an actual 8 oz cup of water. The tea had a bit too much ginger taste to me, but I added a sweetened creamer I had and it made the beverage perfect! I drank it as a hot tea, but it can also be an iced tea by allowing the beverage to cool after mixing ingredients and adding ice.

Our next item is an herbal-infused soy candle set containing herbs such as cinnamon, cedar, and clove. I absolutely love candles, but I don't generally light tealight candles, mainly because they are so small. I want my candles to burn all day! And because these candles smell so good, they are going to be all used in no time. The smell has notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and amber. The tealight is also made with the labradorite crystal which is great for balance and protection. Lucky for me, this fragrance comes in a variety of sizes, so I can get a double wick candle with the same sweet amber scent once these tealights burn out.

I would like to start off this review by explaining the condition of the box. Your favorite dog nephew decided to pull this box out of the delivery when I wasn't looking and tore off some of the outer boxes. Neither pup nor products were harmed 🙂
Getting back to our Spice of Life-themed box, this next item is sure to add some excitement and spice to your life. This girl kit includes four toys with one transferable vibrating piece that can be used for whatever mood you're in. A girl loves options! All pieces are also water-resistant and rechargeable. The remote that accompanies the vibrating piece makes for added convenience and control.

Our last item in this month's box is considered to provide an aphrodisiac aromatherapeutic experience. The color alone alludes to spice with its rose gold and red mixture. Pair that with a spicy cinnamon smell and I'd say we're in for an adventure. The cinnamon smell was more than I'd regularly like and I was a little hesitant about bathing in the soak because of its strong scent. But the aphrodisiac description intrigued me, so I ran a bath and tried it out. The smell was hard to get past for me so there was no sensual feeling, but the bath soak did leave my skin feeling soft.

We received a bonus item this month! Let's continue with the spiciness with this uber-sexy black lace mask. I love the detail of the mask and how easy it was to put on. The mask is sexy and chic and can be used for any sort of costume. 🙂
Verdict
This month's Heart & Honey box was full of spice and offered a variety of bold items. The chai tea latte set was delicious and makes for a really cute gift option for the holidays. The directions of the kit were also super easy to follow which I appreciated. The fragrance of the tealight set is beyond wonderful. I think this may be my winter scent for my home this season. The toy set offers versatile items to spice things up in the bedroom. A girl likes to have options, and the options in this set are fun and daring. I sadly was unimpressed with the bath soak. The smell was difficult to get past for me, but I think it could make a great gift for the holidays. I also received a super sexy bonus item! Thank you H&H for once again coming through with an awesome box offering.
