Bespoke Post News: Box Price Change

Bespoke Post announced that there will be an upcoming box price change.

The News:

Boxes for Club Members will be going from $45 to $49
Boxes for guests will go from $55 to $70.
Shipping will increase to $4.95 (from $3.95)
Shipping will be free for orders over $95.

Good To Know: Club Members will be notified this week of the change and it will go into effect for those current members on March 1st.

Bespoke Post delivers unique and personalized products for people "who give a d**n," through a flexible subscription-based offering. Each box is curated based on the subscriber's product likes and dislikes. Subscribers can preview, swap, skip, or cancel at their discretion. Boxes are priced at $49, but the value typically exceeds $70.

Unlike most subscription boxes, you get to preview your box before it ships and you can easily swap for a different box or skip the month for no charge. You only pay for the months that interest you.

I knew it was coming. I understand why it’s happening. But I am really bummed that all my favorite boxes are raising their prices because it means I’m going to have to cancel at least one sub. 😕 A $2-$6 increase per box (not just Bespoke Post) really starts to add up when you get 15+ boxes ALL raising their prices.

There are far worse problems to have, but my sub boxes have been one of the few things I’ve looked forward to during the pandemic. They’ve kept me cheery when I may have otherwise been sad and filled me with excitement during very difficult times. I’ve seen more than a couple boxes shutter their doors, so to speak, during the last two years. When so many of the boxes I subscribe to are small-business owned boxes, and then I have to start cutting and canceling, I wonder if others are in the same boat, and will these boxes still be around when my finances shift again? This has got to be as stressful for the companies (sub boxes and the businesses they work with) as it is disappointing for me as a customer. Hope they all make it out okay. I’m off to start making a sub box priority list to see who gets chopped 😖
