This clear acrylic clutch has gold-colored hardware and comes with a pouch insert for protecting key valuables. The outside of the clutch is waterproof and easy to clean, and the fact that it’s see-through makes it perfect for any events or occasions that have bag restrictions. It’s so much easier to hold up a clear bag than to open up your purse for security to rifle through. The size is really nice. It’s big enough to hold my phone, wallet, keys, and an emergency lip gloss, and the simplicity of the design makes it versatile enough to go with any number of outfits or looks. This three-quarter sleeve tee is a vibrant, eye-catching pink, with an alluring print of an elegant Black woman in a pink evening gown. I think this short is supposed to be an off-the-shoulder tee, which I love, and it’s super soft and lightweight. I live on the West Coast where it tends to be warmer all year long, so I like the fact that the sleeves are only three-quarters. It gives me more of an opportunity to wear this shirt without getting too hot. It’s definitely a relaxed fit and perfect to pull on for lounging around the house, a quick morning yoga session, or an errand run.
IZZY & LIV Bling Charm Bracelet - Retail Value $24

I really like this delicate gold-plated charm bracelet. The bracelet itself is a thin band that the charms elegantly dangle from. There is a charm of Africa inlaid with sparkling crystals, as well as three gold circle charms that feature the Izzy & Liv initials and the words ‘soul’ and ‘culture’ in delicate cursive lettering. A fifth charm spells out the word ‘royalty.’ I really like how this piece has elements of statement jewelry but the sizing of something a bit more subtle and elegant. Subscribers could have received one of two designs: Royalty or Queen. I received Royalty.

Visually stunning and full of colorful Afro-centric prints, this wall calendar is filled with inspirational quotes from Black women like Michelle Obama, Serena Williams, Maya Angelou, Oprah, and more. The calendar has a beautiful glossy finish that gives each page a shine and features all twelve months of 2022. Each page displays a full month and includes a small section on the right for notes.

This satin cami and short set is so cute. I love how soft and lightweight the fabric is. It keeps me nice and cool through the night and is fashionable enough to run out to the mailbox in the morning. The shorts have an elastic waistband that is just the right thickness and very comfortable. It doesn’t roll down and try to suffocate me in my sleep. And the tank has delicate, thin straps that feel like they’re barely there. Subscribers could have received one of six styles: Patchwork Queen, Island Empress, Tribal Beauty, Melanin Love Language, Safari Queens, or Melanin Faces. I received Patchwork Queen.
IZZY & LIV Reusable Bag Bonus Item

As a bonus, we received a cute blue-and-white polka dot reusable bag that folds up really compactly. I love this. It is the perfect size for storing in the glove box or center console of my car for whenever I happen to need a bag.
Verdict
I really enjoyed this month’s Brown Sugar Box, the ‘Luxe’ edition. The satin pajama set is definitely on the luxurious end of sleepwear, and I really love how comfortable it is. The clear clutch and gold-plated charm bracelet give luxe vibes to any outfit for any event or occasion. I also really enjoy the off-the-shoulder three-quarter sleeve tee. The color is vibrant, and the fit is comfortable. I also like that a calendar was curated for this box, and this bright, inspirational one is the perfect way to start the new year. The bonus item of the reusable bag is a nice touch, especially since the pattern makes the bag a bit more elevated than your average, plain old reusable bag. Overall, I think this was a great box. Everything was on theme, and the curation was diverse and exciting enough to keep me guessing as I unboxed.
