Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. When you sign up, you take an in-depth survey of your sizes, your style, and your pricing preferences. After choosing when you’d like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks five items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

First Impressions
Let's take a look at this month's selections, shall we?
What's Inside This Month's Fix
Mireya Printed Mesh Dress, Size 22w — Retail Value $98.00
My stylist, Torey, really brought it this month with the vintage-inspired pieces. This one makes me think of Stevie Nicks, without a doubt! The dress has a printed mesh overlay with loads of stretch. The material is thinner, but oh so flowy and comfortable to wear. I feel like there was a missed opportunity not pairing this dress with a faux fur best and a large brimmed hat, but I at the very least wore it with my favorite off-white western-style booties. This would look great with thicker tights, boots, and a large black faux fur-trimmed winter coat for these colder months.
Jazzie V Neck Pullover in Dark Green by Pink Clover, Size 2x — Retail Value $50.00
My stylist, Torey, included two pullovers this month. I love sweaters and pullovers for this time of year. I am perpetually cold, so hand them over to me! This dark green is a great staple chilly weather month piece. The knit isn't too thick or thin and I love the v-neck! I could easily toss it over a summer maxi dress, leggings, and boots to create a cozy wintertime outfit. I love the top paired with the skinny leg pants Torey included as well as some retro yellow flower power acrylic earrings and white combat style boots I reviewed from ShoeDazzle a few months back. This top would be great also with your favorite faux leather mini skirt, fishnet tights, boots, and a cute beret for a chic, yet hip ensemble!
Sorsha Feather Fleece Mock Neck Pullover in Burgundy by Threads 4 Thoughts, Size 2x — Retail Value $58.00
Torey included this thinner knit, yet extremely cozy pullover from Threads 4 Thoughts. I love that it is a thinner knit because I could easily tuck this top into a skirt or pants. This piece could be comfortably layered as well. The burgundy color is such a perfect Fall/Winter shade too. For styling, I opted to pair the top also with the Liverpool plaid pants, rhinestone disco ball earrings, white Mary Janes, and the Mele style eyeglasses from Wherelight.com. This outfit is both smart and classically styled with a touch of quirkiness. I would definitely wear this when I was still in an office setting, no doubt!
Jacqueline Skinny Printed Pant by Liverpool, Size 24w— Retail Value $78.00
Wow, these pants are immensely comfortable! They have a load of stretch, similar to a ponte fabric legging. The print has a classic retro vibe that I adore. I definitely love these pants paired with all the pullovers Torey selected for me, but these would look great in a number of ways. I can envision wearing these with a button-down, blazer, and platform loafers or heels in the office. This could also be styled more casually with a vintage band shirt, faux fur leopard coat, and sneakers or booties. I can't help it-- I just love pattern clashing and these would look great paired with an animal print or polka dot top or sweater!
Cowl Neck Dress in Olive by TAYLOR, Size 22w — Retail Value $78.00
This dress is... WOW! When I put it on to take pictures, my boyfriend said I should keep it. As much as I also adored it, I opted against adding it to my wardrobe. This dress is slinky and sexy as all get out! I love this beautiful bronze/olive shade in the velvet fabric. It is absolutely stunning. I don't typically gravitate towards Earth tone hues, but this is exquisitely gorgeous! A lot of events were canceled due to Omicron for New Year's Eve, so this could be an ideal dress to wear when things are rescheduled. Imagine wearing this stunner to a wintertime wedding-- oh my gosh! I simply styled this beauty with open toe black heels and large rhinestone earrings. I absolutely loved Torey's styling suggestion of pairing this with a white turtleneck, puffer coat, and sneakers! I would have never considered that! I also love the idea of this paired with a white t-shirt, fishnet tights, black combat boots, and a plaid button-down left open layered underneath a faux leather biker jacket for optimum 90s grunge vibes. You would look like a model walking out of Sassy magazine or an extra from a party scene on My So-Called Life!
The Verdict
This month's Stitch Fix was FIRE! My stylist, Torey, is consistently killing it! We are just two peas in a pod on this, I swear. Though I didn't keep anything this month, I appreciated everything that she picked out for me. That TAYLOR dress was as magnificent as she had described! I can't emphasize how important it is to collaborate with your Stitch Fix stylist. I am frequently impressed by how thorough she is-- she truly takes my feedback into account every single month. She not only reads my direct feedback, but also what I "bookmark" or list as a favorite on the site, and even what I post on my Pinterest and Instagram. I am a sucker for details, and she pays attention to them as well! Don't be afraid to address your preferences to your stylist. This all makes it easier for them to curate items for your dream Fix. Do keep in mind that you also have the ability to personally select pieces for your Stitch Fix as well! This is a fantastic option if you are a shopping fiend like yours truly. Did you also know that Stitch Fix now allows you to shop on their site for clothing items, accessories, foundation garments, and also shoes without getting a monthly Stitch Fix sent to you? This is ideal if you aren't interested in getting a monthly Fix. You can check out their site and buy their in-house brands outright! Considering how awesomely Torey did yet again this month, are you as eager as me to see what she sends my way next month?
