Food subscription service Freshly has sent out an email to subscribers that for some meal plans, shipping prices will increase. According to the brand:
Like many businesses today, the effects of COVID-related supply chain and labor issues have affected us here at Freshly. We’ve worked diligently with our transportation and logistics partners over the past few months to limit the impact on both the cost and quality of your meal delivery.
As costs continue to increase, however, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to raise our shipping prices.
How will this increase affect you? Beginning February 22, the price of shipping for our 4-9 meal plans will rise to a flat rate of $9.99 per order. (Remember: you can adjust the number of meals in your weekly order anytime by visiting your Deliveries page.)
As always, your satisfaction is paramount to us—and we’ll continue to do everything we can to bring you the service, variety, and value you expect and deserve. We appreciate your understanding, and we’re glad to have you as part of our Freshly Fam.
This price change only applies to meal plans of 4 to 9 meals a week, which were previously priced at $6.99 (4 to 7 meals per week) and $8.99 (8 to 9 meals per week).
What do you think of this change in Freshly shipping costs?
