February 2022: "Box-Full of Sweetness"
It's the month of love and our "box-full of sweetness" name is fitting! I hope to receive items this month that remind me to cater to the love of self <3. Every Rose War Panty Power box includes a card that lists the randomized lifestyle gifts a subscriber may receive.
Organyc Period Products (15 ct) – Listed Value $9.00
Every month you will receive 15 assorted size period products based on your selection. I usually receive pads and tampons, but this month I only received tampons from Organyc. I was a teeny bit disappointed because I'm more of a pads girl, and go through them pretty quickly, so love when I'm sent more. These tampons, however, will get put to good use as well. The tampons are organic, so no plastic applicators (which make insertion a little more comfortable for me, but I understand why this is safer for us and the environment). This item is veery absorbent which puts my anxiety about leaks to rest.
Two Pairs of Undies - Listed Value $8.00-$25.00
In addition to the monthly period products, you will receive two pairs of underwear each month. This month I received two pairs of full coverage undies.
My first pair of underwear are from Aeropostale. I love how RWPP throws in name-brand undies randomly. These pretty in pink panties have a semi-high cut, which adds a touch of sexy!
My next pair is from the brand Emprella. This is a company seen often in our RWPP box, and I love how soft their underwear always are. I enjoy the lace detail on this pair, adding that hint of sexy. I see a theme here!
Tropicgyal Naturals Facial Serum, 1 fl oz – Retail Value $36.99
My skin has been in breakout city recently. I'm sure its a combination of stress and my menstrual cycle, but I haven't broken out this bad since high school (which was almost 20 years ago!). I was elated to receive a facial serum that says it increases cell turn over, contains acne-fighting bacteria, and heals blemishes. The serum, while quick absorbing, is on the thicker side. A little goes a long way. The smell is similar to a fruity hair oil. You know, the product where you can heavily smell the oil, but there's a splash of fruit to give it some pizzazz. The oil absorbed into my skin quickly, and I noticed less irritation on my skin almost immediately. I hope this is a new key product in my fight with adult acne.
SKINBUILDERS Pimtox Patches – Listed Value $29.00 (found here for $15.99)
The pimple patch is widely known nowadays, but have you ever heard of a patch with microneedles? I hadn't, until I received this item in this month's box! This patch uses ingredients PDRN, Compound K, and EGF to repair skin tissue and reduce inflammation. I'm obsessed with pimple patches and couldn't wait to try. I found it so neat that you can feel the tiny microneedles! The needles didn't hurt at all, felt like an exfoliator, and made me hopeful that the patch would be fast acting. I wore my patches over night, and woke up to clearer skin. My large acne was smaller, and the smaller acne was barely noticeable anymore. I'm so pleased with this item!
Clean File Foot Scrubber – Listed Value $15.00
Our last item is a rainbow-colored foot scrubber. Nothing tells your feet you love them more than giving them a good scrubbing and ridding your feet of dead skin. I like that this foot scrub is able to do its job without any metal or sharp objects. While the picture doesn't do the best job at showing it, the bottom of the scrubber has finely textured glass that smoothly and safely files dead skin cells. I had to scrub pretty hard ( I haven't had a pedicure in months), but the file did remove the dead skin on my feet without any pain.
*Bonus Item* Makeup Brush
This month we received a makeup brush as a bonus item! You can never have too many makeup brushes in my humble opinion. And that's mainly because after so many washes, I'm throwing my bushes away and welcoming in new ones. I like the duo color and fullness of the brush, and the bristles are really soft.
And now for some freebies...
Snacks
I look forward to the snacks every month! This month, chocolate was my thing and I demolished the Twix chocolate and Snickers bar pretty immediately.
Wet Wipes
We also received two wet wipes from Stall Mates. These flushable, hypoallergenic wipes are convenient for when you're out and about and need a quick refresh.
Verdict
Thank you Rose War Panty Power box for bringing the face products this month! I couldn't think of sweeter items to bring into this box-full of sweetness :-). But really, in a month where my face was unruly, the patches and face serum really came through. The foot scrubber was a nice touch, as I used mine to prepare my feet for V Day... and every other day because this cold winter has been relentless on my feet.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $37.50 and I estimate that I received over $100 in value. Previous month boxes have held more value, but I still think this is a steal for the items received.
