First Impressions

Goddess Provisions does a beautiful job with packaging.

The box comes with a short but informative booklet that outlines all of the items inside and discloses the theme. This month's theme is "Midnight Garden".

What's Inside This Box

Midnight Garden Vegan Silk Scarf - Retail Value $33.00

This sheer scarf is gorgeous. I don't know what could have possibly illustrated a better 'Midnight Garden'. Honestly, I am not really into wearing a sheer scarf, but this beauty could serve so many decorative or other useful purposes like using it to cover your altar, fashioning a headband or hair scarf, or even using it as reusable wrapping paper.

Lilac & Willow Spring Haze Candle - Listed Value $14.00

Typically, I do not reach for floral candles, but this jasmine and plumeria fragrance is a winner. Before I lit this candle, I dumped the decorative dried flowers out, and I have been burning it for a few hours now. Its fragrance has carried throughout our first floor and has me yearning for a springy climate (there is about 3 inches of snow sitting outside right now). So far, this hand-poured soy candle has been burning very evenly.

SoapyLayne Moonlight Butterfly Perfume Oil - Listed Value $26.00

Perfume oils have fantastic staying power, and you only need a little dab to lift away the senses. Since my mom is a huge fan of geranium and rose scents, I'll be putting this pretty little bottle in her Easter basket. This handmade fragrance contains nourishing ingredients such as jojoba oil, sunflower oil, coconut oil, and essential oils including geranium, rose, orange, patchouli, and ylang-ylang.

Shoppe Geo Mini Energy Set - Retail Value $12.00

The presentation of this little set is perfect for gifting (and keeping!). It includes two stones, clear quartz and citrine. Together, the two crystals can promote abundance and strength, two things that a lot of us struggle with. Clear quartz is known as a master healer, and it even amplifies energy for other stones that are nearby. Its clearing and balancing energies work hard to increase positive energies and decrease any lower vibrations. Citrine is known to help improve mental clarity and mental output, which is a great tool, especially if you're struggling in today's world.

Plant Oracle Trading Cards - Retail Value $7.00

I love getting oracle cards from GP. The quality is top-notch, and they are always beautifully illustrated. I've put every deck I have together, and once in a while, I will get them out and draw a few for a little insight or guidance on my current circumstances.

oracle cards

This deck has seven cards featuring different plants that offer you a simple truth you may have been looking for. The card I drew was ghost pipe that reads "Immerse in your shadow's wisdom," I will have to read into that a little and get back to you. Which card did you pull?

Holy Santo Mugwort Pack - Listed Value $2.00

Mugwort is a visionary herb known to "intensify dreams, visions and astral travel experiences." Goddess Provisions suggestions using this to clear your sacred space, use in rituals, as incense, or place by your bed. I will do the latter tonight, and hopefully, I wake up with a clearer mind and hopeful outlook. This energetic herb doesn't have a very potent fragrance out of the bag, but it does have a subdued herbal scent.

Here are most of this month's items on display.

Verdict

Goddess Provisions put out a phenomenal March curation. I am hooked on this subscription, and I look forward to its surprises every month. I love that they effortlessly supply us with beauty, accessories, home goods, and beautiful crystals each month and somehow manage to make every item meaningful to the current month's box theme. I am always impressed by the quality of the items sent out and the gift-ability of each item. This month, in my opinion, was a fantastic follow-up to February's curation, one of my all-time favorites. This month's box has a value of $94; that is a great value for a $33 box.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.

OK…what on earth is “vegan silk”. Is that a churched-up name for polyester? Please, there in no need to be so vague (unless it’s something that you are embarrassed about).
So lets start again…it is Rayon, Viscose, Lyocell/Tencel, Cupro, Modal, Banana Silk, Banana Silk, Lotus Silk, MicroSilk, or is it really just polyester?

I agree, Rosemary. I think the scarf is beautiful, but definitely not any type of silk.

Melissa

It shows right in the picture that it is 100% recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles.

Thank you. I didn’t see that on my phone screen. That said, this is not “vegan silk” by any stretch of the definition.
