Gwynnie Bee is a size-inclusive clothing rental subscription service offering sizes 0-32! Gwynnie Bee allows you to select items you like that are put in a virtual closet. The chosen items in your virtual closet are sent to you at random, but you can select priority pieces to be sent to you first. Since I started using the service, I can say I always have a lot of fun with this box!
The cost depends on how many items you would like to rent out at a time. Starting at $49 per month for 1 item and up to $199 for 10 items. Gwynnie Bee also has a marketplace on their site where you can buy steeply discounted used rental pieces and brand new accessories, underwear, and workout gear as well!
This is a review of the three items at a time for $95/month.

What's Inside This Box
Striped Jersey Shirt Dress in Navy/ Pale Cream by Ralph Lauren, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $32.50
I don't recall closeting this dress, but I easily could have. Striped jersey fabric dresses are so comfortable and easy to wear! When I worked in the office, I would toss a dress similar to this nearly every week. The key is to change the accessories around, but you can get a number of outfits from this single piece! The dress has loads of stretch and the longer length ensures you are modestly covered. No fears for when you bend over in this number. I also was pleased, as a busty woman, that there were no button gapping. This is a more relaxed piece that could look fantastic with knit cardigans and booties or a denim jacket and low top sneakers come the spring. My only grievance is that this is a navy and cream striped dress. I would be over the moon if this was black and white, though it is incredibly close!
Stripe Mix Shirt Dress by Calvin Klein, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $46.00
Here we go with another striped dress this month. This time, we have a sportier t-shirt style dress. the difference too is the horizontal different sized stripes versus the vertical stripes on the Ralph Lauren piece. This dress is certainly more versatile than the prior item due to the shorter length and cap sleeves. This will allow for you to wear this in colder weather months with tights, knee high boots, a faux leather biker jacket, and a beret or in the spring and summer months with sneakers, flats, or sandals. The cotton material has ample stretch and still hits at a conservative length to ensure your dupa is covered when you bend over. That is a plus when you have a big rump like moi! This is a Calvin Klein dress, but I hate to say it-- I feel as though I have similar pieces from Forever21 and Old Navy in my closet. This is a great staple item that I would have worn to the office on a constant, but I am not WOWed by this dress, sad to say.
Novelty Sleeve Velvet Dress in Totally Black by Eloquii, Size 22 — Cost to Keep $36.50
Speaking of wow factor-- this dress has it! Leave it to Eloquii to bring that "je ne sais quoi" in fun, stylish plus size clothing. This is the kind of dress I would wear during the holidays or for a fancy dinner. It is refined, yet sassy; classic yet nonconforming. I appreciate the see through mesh puff sleeves combined with the stretchy black velvet body of the dress. I styled this cutie with my favorite gold ankle booties and Divine earrings from the one and only, Reb's Rainbow Haus! This dress would look sophisticated styled with simple strappy black heels or add on the funky with aqua opaque tights, gold metallic open toed heels, and glitter gold hoops!
Verdict
This month's Gwynnie Bee selections were... alright. I say that not to slight the two initial dresses. They are fantastic every day wear pieces you can wear running errands, at the office, or at a family dinner. They can be jazzed up with accessories, but I was not nearly as excited about them as I was the Eloquii dress. That is the taste of va va VOOM that I miss! I work from home and have been self isolating, so it has been a long time since I played dress up! I am sure a lot of us are in the same boat-- so it is fun to get an item that makes us feel like the queens that we are! I love being able to use a rental service like Gwynnie Bee. It gives me the opportunity to try a variety of brands and styles I might have not been able to otherwise. Eloquii is one of my all time favorite brands-- actually, I discovered them through my first Gwynnie Bee review I did nearly five years ago! I enjoy being able to try out styles from brands I love. The best part is if I fall head over heels for an item, I have the ability to buy the pre-worn piece at a discounted rate! You also accrue points that can be used as a $5, $10, or $15 discount! I actually kept the Eloquii dress this month and was able to nab it for $21.50 due to my rewards points! Gwynnie Bee also offers a variety of additional sales on at home items too! You must check out their outlet as well for even further discounted items-- the potential savings are fantastic!
I have been keeping an incredibly low profile for months to protect vulnerable family members, so I can't foresee myself going on any mall trips soon. I miss spending an afternoon window shopping, but with a service like Gwynnie Bee I have the stores delivered right to my front door! No need for me to run around and grab a mask and sanitizer-- I am able to have a try on session from the comfort of my own home!
What are you waiting for-- especially with 50% off for your first month! This month's selections were absolutely adorable-- are you as eager as me to see what is in store for us next month?
