What's Inside This Box
Three Ships Lip Treatment Kit - Retail Value $30.00
This is a popular product that has been floating around several different subscriptions. I received this in a past FabFitFun box and thoroughly enjoyed the set. The lip exfoliator uses sugar to buff away any dead skin, renewing the surface and transforming your lips into a fresh new canvas; while the sugar puts in the work, shea butter and avocado oil nourish the lips making them soft and supple. The buttercream lip mask, which has become a staple for me, hydrates and moisturizes like a dream using coconut oil, sunflower oil and shea butter. I will advise anyone to use up the lip mask in a timely fashion; I opened the one from FabFitFun, and after two months of use, I noticed the buttercream fragrance wasn't as pleasant.
Earth Harbor Sunstone Hair Revive Elixir - Retail Value $30.00
Earth Harbor has such an awesome array of products! I was stoked to see a hair elixir from them since I am typically only obsessing over their vegan skincare. I've been searching for a hair and scalp oil to use before shampooing (once I realized there was such a product), and I think my haircare approach has completely changed overnight. I have fine hair but a lot of it. Oils tend to weigh my hair down, but my strands need that extra lovin' that oils and other hydrating products offer. I used several drops and applied them directly to my scalp, and used about six more drops to cover my length. I lounged in my bathtub for over an hour reading, and then I washed my hair, using the double shampoo method. My hair looked and felt great the next day, nourished without being weighed down. Sunstone is full of healthy, hair-loving ingredients like seaweed, coconut, jojoba oil, carrot seed, and Calendula flowers. It has a very subtle, warm fragrance that didn't seem to stick around after application.
J&L Naturals Face Salve, Shine - Retail Value $16.99
Made with all-natural, vegan ingredients, this salve comes in sturdy compostable packaging. Using shea butter, sweet almond oil, and candelilla wax, this salve moisturizes, nourishes, and combats dry spots while lessening the appearance of oil and promoting balance in your skin. I have sworn off using essential oils in skincare because my skin is so sensitive, but this will make an excellent cuticle cream. The lavender and rose geranium oils have an aromatherapy effect, and it is lovely.
103 Collection Blueberry Cranberry Facial Scrub - Listed Value $9.99
Even though physical exfoliants get a bad rap for sensitive skin, I absolutely love the feeling of sloughing off dead skin cells. It is invigorating! Lucky for me, this formula is very tame. It uses gentle jojoba esters and cranberry fibers to gently scrub the skin while antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients soothe and brighten the complexion. This product is suitable for all skin types and is formulated without parabens, sulfates, irritants, synthetic fragrances, and is cruelty free.
basd Citrus Grapefruit Body Lotion - Listed Value $3.99
I'm not picky when it comes to body moisturizer. This delightfully citrus lotion ticks enough boxes to keep me hooked. It smells delicious, it moisturizes very well and it has a lot of great ingredients such as organic shea butter, organic virgin coconut oil, cocoa butter, organic aloe vera juice, organic sunflower oil, and caffeine. My only gripe about this product is that it takes some effort to rub in and a little time to sink into the skin.
Verdict
March's Kinder Beauty Box was an awesome mix of products. My skin, lips and hair feel amazing after using all of this month's featured products. I love testing new vegan brands, and I was happy to revisit the Three Ships lip duo that nursed my lips back to health this winter. My favorite product this month is definitely Earth Harbor's Sandstone Elixir, but I think I'll be using up the majority of these products. This month’s box has a retail value of $90.97, triple the box's cost of $26.
