First Impressions
My pieces arrived in the regular mailer and were individually wrapped in plastic bags.
Now, on to the lingerie!
I am always impressed at the truly wild fabrics this brand comes up with. They can take something that looks like it should never work for lingerie or be comfortable at all, and completely surprise you. I have been very into neons so far this year, but like, in a subtle way. And when I saw this somehow pastel yet somehow neon color of this set, I knew it had to be mine. I also was guessing that the fabric was much more iridescent in person, a trait that is incredibly hard to capture in photography. Was I right? Yeah! Here is a closer peek at the two items that come as part of the X-Ray Vision VIP Set:

So this fabric is, well, weird. But I say that in a very appreciative manner. It feels plasticky and odd when you first touch it, but it also has great stretch while still adding a compression element to the bra. And, as I suspected, it is so beautifully iridescent in person! I have been really loving wireless bras lately, but as someone who is gifted up top, I do need actual support. This bra does this well because of the combination of the fabric as well as the structured cups (see the last image for a peek inside). It also has a short little area of boning on the side. The whole look is finished off with a holographic circle charm between the cups. I actually don't love it so I carefully removed mine, but the look is still 100%.
X-Ray Vision Brazilian - Retail Value $22.95 ($16.95 for VIP members)

I absolutely love a Brazilian cut. The high leg holes accentuate shorter legs (and thicker thighs!) without giving up the comfort of a higher rise panty. These are listed as having moderate coverage but if you have a bigger bum they are much more cheeky! Again, the fabric is such a wonderfully odd texture and I found it very comfortable.
Verdict
My Savage X Fenty VIP box was a neon dream this month. And both pieces fit really well and delivered a look that is only something to be seen from Savage X Fenty. I have found myself wearing this set pretty often, and it absolutely gives that secret confidence you get when you have matching lingerie on. It is also comfortable, which I didn't know was possible from such a specialty fabric. If you have been wanting to try a neon sort of look but don't want to go, like, highlighter level neon, this is a winner.
