With all the skincare I receive in a month, a body care item feels like a treat! Especially when I am focused on getting my arms and legs summer-short sleeve and skirt ready. This (large!) bottle of serum feels like a lotion serum sort of hybrid in terms of texture and it is super hydrating and nearly weightless once absorbed. It is also a great anti-aging formula for your skin because it is full of antioxidants from vitamin E, sea buckthorn oil, and pumpkin. The scent is also a dreamy mix of geranium, citrus, and ylang-ylang that is warm and summery.

Whenever I see a black mask, I always assume it is a charcoal formula created for acne and hope it isn't too drying for my face. That is absolutely not at all what this magical mask is! Sure, it has black clay inside which is indeed clarifying, but I found it more calming and moisturizing. That is because of some seriously incredible ingredients inside. Moisturizing and antibacterial honey, calming aloe, vitamin E, and loads of botanicals like blue tansy and currant. It has a herbaceous and natural scent that is strong but easy to love. I recommend applying with a fan brush because it does have a thinner, almost runny texture. But this is totally worth it! It is an instant glow boost to my face and leaves my skin looking great and never, ever, dry.

My last item this month is a golden hair oil. I know not everyone uses hair oil, and though I happen to love it, if you aren't as enthused, know you can also use this on your body (it works awesome on knees and elbows!) as well as a cuticle oil. It is a blend of coconut oil, argan oil, and avocado oil with other ingredients like soothing nettle and vitamin E. The smell is really, really wonderful! Imagine a sexy but subtle scent with a mingling of sandalwood, sage, and rose. It is delightful and a wonderful fragrance on its own or as a complement to your perfume.
Verdict
This Laurel & Reed felt like a whole-body curation this month. Wonderful! And the total value inside is $174, a great amount for the cost of the box. Many of you know that I am kind of picky about scents, and this box honestly was a dream in that regard. Everything was just so fragrant and magical. And all of the formulas made my skin and hair feel incredible.
