We received this little card describing this month's theme of "Farmhouse Fresh" and it gave us a breakdown of the four items inside. Green wheat, oat, and rye? These definitely sounded like some unique and interesting scents!

"Rosemary & Rye" Salt Scrub

This salt scrub is very fine and worked well to exfoliate and soften my skin. The scent is listed as Melogold grapefruit, wild rosemary, cardamom, green rye, thyme, coriander, sea salt and amberwood. It's a tough one to describe, but overall it was just a very fresh and maybe slightly earthy scent? It was very mild and one that would not easily offend. That makes it great for a scrub if you plan on layering other scents because this one should work well with others!
"Lavender & Oat" Sleep Spray

This is a new one! A sleep spray is such a fun option, and while lavender may seem a bit obvious, the addition of the hazelnut, sweet tobacco, cornflower, and oat milk help to elevate the scent a bit. The scent is actually very familiar to me, but I can't quite place it. While I get a good bit of lavender when I spray it initially, the scent that is gently misted onto my pillow is more cornflower and maybe a hint of sweet hazelnut. It's very light and relaxing.
"Pear Blossom & Barley" Perfume Oil Roller, 10 ml - Listed Value $20

This roller scent is a mix of bergamot, apple, pear blossom, gardenia, woods, and vanilla. Individually, I love all of those scents so I was excited to see how they would come together. The result is very vibrant and citrusy at first, but then those notes of pear and apple take over with just a bit of the floral gardenia to it. The woods adds a whole different layer to it making it feel more sophisticated. This would be a great day-to-night scent.
"Green Wheat & Mimosa" Perfume Spray, 1 oz - Listed Value $39

Our perfume spray this month is a blend of black tea, tangerine, cyclamen (a sweet flowering plant - I had to look this one up!), french mimosa, pampas grass, green wheat, and musk. First, I was hit with the black tea, then the tangerine and the endnotes are just perfectly bright and floral. It is such a refreshing scent that reminds me a little of the sweet pea scent that I used to love! This just has a bit more of those citrus notes to it. It feels like a very fitting scent for spring. It also layered very nicely with the perfume roller for a more complex scent!
