Does anyone else make questionable decisions while online shopping at 2:00 a.m.? Backstory here: at the beginning of June, we took my husband to the movies, and because it was so chilly out, we had to unpack our winter jackets again. IN JUNE! Anyways, Fabletics had a killer sale on trio of sweatshirts, so I absolutely had to get them! Fast forward to the day of receival - it is 96 degrees out, and I am roasting! In early June, Fabletics had a mega sale going on. Typically, you aren't able to use your membership credit on anything over $79.95 as it won't even show up as an option. This month, I spotted a trio of sweatshirts labelled as the Blithe 3-Piece Bundle, which has a retail price of $264.85 and VIP price of $139.95, yet I was able to use my $54.95 membership credit to purchase! Talk about a killer deal! So of course, I ordered! See what was included below.
Eco Go-To Pocket Hoodie - Retail Value $84.95

Confession: I just ordered this same sweatshirt last month, but because I loved it so much and it was included in the trio at that steeply discounted price, I just had to have it in heather grey as well. Made from 67% Repreve Polyester and 33% cotton, this ultra-snuggly sweatshirt is oversized and extremely comfy. Not only is this sweatshirt NOT cropped, but it also features pockets on each side, which I have found to prefer over the pouch style. I also enjoy the fact that the hood doesn't have adjusting strings because let's be honest, they fall out or become uneven so darn easily. While it was a little hot to wear the day I received, this piece is perfect for fishing, campfires, and late-night baseball games, pairing with just about anything. Now, only 6 more colors to go until I complete my collection!
Zaylee Funnel Neck Tunic - Retail Value $89.95

The second top I received was a turtleneck-style tunic. Perfect for fall, I was really drawn to the light heather grey color along with the longer silhouette. Pairing well with jeans as well as with leggings, I felt comfy and cozy in this oversized top. The front features a pouch style pocket and inside is soft and snuggly. Typically, with a neckline like this I would have my hair up, but I had just come in from a morning of outside chores and didn't realize just how much like a rat's nest my hair actually looked! Anyways, this style top is a little dressier than the eco hoodie, and while it could be worn to all of the same places, it could also be dressed up with black slacks for a day at school.
Rayne Polar Fleece Crewneck - Retail Value $89.95

The last item included in this trio was a 100% recycled polyester fleece crewneck sweatshirt. With a bit of a cropped bottom, this sweatshirt could have stood to be a tiny bit longer, but overall, I am pleased. Soft and warm, I appreciated the thickness of this fabric, and felt the oversized fit was well executed, though I maybe should have sized down. With ribbed cuffs, neckline, and hem, it is pretty as well as functional. While I didn't find it dressy enough to wear to school, I will totally be bringing this piece with me to our 4th of July camping adventure!
Verdict
Like I said above, these mid-June choices may have been questionable due to the soaring temps, but this sale was hot, hot, hot! In all my time reviewing Fabletics, I have never been able to score a bundle with a retail price of $264.85 with the membership credit. That is a savings of over $200.00! And because I already have and loved one of the pieces included, I knew there was no going wrong with this set. In Minnesota our summer is so short that I can justify having more sweatshirts and found the quality, colors, and styles right up my alley. I was a little bit salty over the price increase last month, but if they keep offering bundles with value like this once and a while, I just might get over it.
