I love perfume and body mists. Can you ever have too many? This one smells lovely!
According to Fortune Cookie Soap, FCS, for short, the scent is:
“Sweet mango, creamy coconut, delicate lotus flower and vanilla.”
A bonus? Their website explains that this body mist contains glycerin so it also conditions, nourishes and refreshes your skin.
Beam Me Up - Glitter Enzyme Face Mask - Retail Value $21.99

This “Beam Me Up” enzyme face mask is July’s full size item. And I'm super thrilled about that! I love wash-off face masks; especially enzyme ones. I’ve found that clay can be very drying and cause redness and irritation; while enzyme masks gently remove impurities and dead skin cells. This mask is quite possibly my favorite of a long list of favorite masks. It works beautifully to give smooth, bright skin. Beyond that, it smells incredible! According to the FCS, the scent is a:
“...blend of juicy orange, crisp apples and creamy coconut.”
And…IT HAS GLITTER! Glitter in a wash off mask is really quite brilliant. Glitter is fun, admit it. But like many, wearing body glitter went out in my 20s. I wouldn’t be excited to see glitter in a lotion or hand sanitizer, but this is a wash off mask, so it works. Now I get the childish thrill of glitter without the mess or embarrassment.
Don’t Stop Believing - Soap Slime - Retail Value $8.99

This has to be the coolest invention ever! It’s slime. It's soap. It’s crazy good fun! And definitely my favorite item in the box, which is saying something considering how much I love that mask. This scent is described as:
“Fresh tropical citrus intertwines with refreshing aqueous notes of celestial space-scape blended with soft musk.”
And like all the scents in this box, I’m a huge fan.
The consistency of this soap is very slimy, in the best possible way. While it goes on gooey, it washes away leaving your skin feeling incredibly clean. I loved the experience so much that I just bought a four pack of slime in all of the scents. It would be the perfect thing for any parent who struggles to get their kids into the bath. That is, if you’re willing to share! This soap will make you feel like a kid again!
Spaced Out - Bubble Scoop - Retail Value $5.99

This mini bubble scoop is so fun! It’s very pretty with swirls and a touch of shimmer, plus, (as usual) it smells wonderful! According to FCS the scent is:
“Otherworldly citrus blends perfectly with bright exotic flowers, fresh mango slices and goji berries.”
It’s very soft, so it was easy to crumble under the running water of my tub. BAM: bubbles!
A full size bubble scoop costs $5.99 and it’s suggested that you only need half per bath.
Stay Weird Sticker - Retail Value $0.99
Every month, FCS makes around 4 stickers. They put one in each box they send out. The sticker I received this month says, “Stay Weird” in a strange style. Which is appropriate for a box with an extraterrestrial theme.
To buy the full set of 4 different stickers, the cost is $3.99. All are designed by FCS and graphics and quotes are all worthy of a place in your sticker collection.
The Verdict
Fortune Cookie Soap does it again! I can’t think of a single box with a better track record than FCS. I’ve been a subscriber for years and have never received a box from which I didn’t enjoy (at least) the majority of the items. Subscription boxes can be hit or miss; sometimes you’re going to get one that just doesn’t measure up. But the standard that FCS holds is unparalleled. I’ve literally never gotten a box that wasn’t fun and well-curated!
