Gwynnie Bee is a size-inclusive clothing rental subscription service offering sizes 0-32! Gwynnie Bee allows you to select items you like that are put in a virtual closet. The chosen items in your virtual closet are sent to you at random, but you can select priority pieces to be sent to you first. Since I started using the service, I can say I always have a lot of fun with this box!
The cost depends on how many items you would like to rent out at a time. Prices start at $49 per month for 1 item, and can be up to $199 for 10 items. Gwynnie Bee also has a marketplace on their site where you can buy discounted used rental pieces and brand new accessories, underwear, and workout gear as well!

What's Inside This Box
Perfect Time Top by Sanctuary Clothing, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $84.50
Pink, orange, yellow, and green-- of course I closeted this piece! The material is a light, breezy linen. This is ideal for the incredibly humid hot weather we already have early on in the summer. My only grievance with this top is if I bend over, it is baggy enough that everyone can see my entire torso. My concern is if I got the 2x it would be too tight all over and awkwardly fit. I did simple styling and paired the top with dice earrings made by yours truly, a black pencil skirt, and my black platforms from Torrid that have become my new warm weather go-to! This top would be fantastic with denim shorts, sandals, a large brimmed hat and sunnies at the beach. It also would look fantastic paired with wide leg lime green trousers and platforms for a funky, retro-inspired ensemble.
Polka Dot Sleeve White Sweater by Cozy Casual, Size 2x/3x — Cost to Keep $11.50
Not sure how I was sent this cooler weather top in summer, but alrighty then! Luckily, this top is a lighter weight knit and the sleeves' material are a thinner fabric too. I do appreciate the torso material has ample stretch-- big win! I still wouldn't be wearing anything long sleeved here in the hot, muggy summer. If I were in the Bay Area (oh, how I miss thee), that would be a whole other story! One could wear this on a June or July day without issue! Even though this top isn't the most seasonally appropriate piece, it is still pretty adorable. I would opt to combine this cutie with a black a-line jumper/sleeveless dress, tights, and chunky Mary Janes. Can mix it up with wearing different color tights-- mustard, aqua, pink, purple, you name it!
Faux Leather Wrap Blazer in Totally Black by Eloquii, Size 22 — Cost to Keep $40
If you felt the last piece was a bad summer option, well, this one has the last beat! Faux leather in summer-- I would be drenched in sweat smelling like a pile of beef and onions! No, thanks! This top is a wrap that ties in the back. Though it is a size 22, it barely covers my chest. I felt like I could plop out at any given instance. I think the 24 would be too big for the style, so this would be a no go for me due to the fit as well. That in of itself is strange since Eloquii is truly one of my all time favorite plus size clothing brands! I adore them, but this top is not my favorite. Come fall time, maybe my mind would change. especially if I wore this with some black flare legged pants, my Torrid sandals, big acrylic statement earrings, and a leopard purse for an ultra rocker-gal chic look.
Ribbed Detail Color Block Dress by Hutch, Size 2x — Cost to Keep $79.50
I couldn't resist the color palette and scheme on this dress, so I closeted this one months ago. I had it in my favorites for sometime, hoping it would arrive in each box. For some reason I had assumed this was a jersey material and not this somewhat stretchy chenille-like fabric. If I had known that, I would have probably selected the 3x. I liked it, but wasn't madly in love with the dress once I got it on. I tend to send pictures of the pieces I model to my mom and she and my aunt will look at them. I was touched when my aunt offered to buy this dress for me-- she liked it that much! However, I had already sent it back and if I had kept it I would definitely had sized up. I think I would have liked how it laid better, especially near the slits on each side. Styling this dress was super fun! I paired it with my green and white Balancing Act mules from MCLC as well as earrings from the Undoubtedly Mad shop that my cousin got me a few holidays ago. I loved bringing out the greens and lilac shades in this dress with how I accessorized. The material is a slight bit thicker than expected, so this dress can easily be worn into fall months as well with tights, booties, and your faux fur or leather jacket.
Ginko Floral Zoe Midi Dress by Leota, Size 2x — Cost to Keep $99.50
I love Leota brand dresses so much! I have been reviewing for My Subscription Addiction for roughly, five years now, and Leota is a brand that was introduced to me in my first review ever for Gwynnie Bee. Since that initial review, I have tried on hundreds of Leota pieces and own quite a few. This may be one of my favorites. The fabric, like all Leota items, has loads of stretch. The length is a bit longer than a midi, but shorter than a maxi. It is incredibly easy to wear due to the material and the length-- I feel covered and the fit is fantastic. The cut on this particular dress at the waist, almost has a bodice feel. It is quite lovely. I also love the draping of the shorter bell sleeves. The floral print has a vintage inspired vibe that I adore as well! This is the best kind of dress-- you toss it on in a rush with a cute pair of earrings and platforms and you look incredibly put together. I did just that with my previously mentioned Torrid platforms and some rhinestone disco ball earrings for extra flair. You can easily wear this to the office or a doctor's appointment to a wedding or baby shower without an issue-- it is that stunning!
Black Floral Contrast Trim Dress by Smak Parlour , Size 2x — Cost to Keep $64.50
Whelp, I saved my very favorite for dead last! I have been eyeballing this Smak Parlour dress for MONTHS. I had it on my wait list in my favorites and would check it even more obsessively than the Hutch dress. I was on a mission! I had to have it! I did request it in a 2x, mistaking it for another brand called Every. Body. Every. Wear that was made slightly larger. You can see one of the adorable pieces from that brand here. Both times I had rented and reviewed items from that brand, they were a slight bit oversized on me. When I realized I mistook both brands that offer adorable vintage-inspired pieces, I panicked because this dress was out of stock in the 3x. It was so popular that it was essentially out of stock in every single size. Fortunately, the size 2x fit me perfectly and was on sale, so I kept this one with the quickness! I couldn't let it get away. Even my photographer (aka my dad) loved this dress and said how it reminded him of what girls wore in the 60s when he was growing up. It was a definite must! I amped up the flower power with sunnies from Zee Glasses, my glitzy disco ball earrings, and my trusty Torrid platform sandals featured with the other outfits as well. This would look ultra cute with acrylic flower power laser cut earrings and/or some white or black Mary Janes to up the retro anty! Wear this in the office with tights or out to see your favorite garage rock band-- you will be be set!
Verdict
This month's Gwynnie Bee selections were rather broad! My initial shipment was comprised of mainly out-of-season pieces, so I opted to return them promptly enough to get a second. I was excited to see how many items I could try on and style for yinz, which would also showcase the value of this subscription service. The first three pieces were nice, but didn't dazzle me. The final three were all thriller, no filler for me! I am especially so excited to have received the Smak Parlour dress; I feel like it was made for me. I am so in love with it! The Leota dress is so fantastic and can be worn to so many events and places-- it is a winner, baby! The Hutch dress is fire too, but I would have preferred it in one size up! After all these years, I still love Gwynnie Bee. Even when they send me out of season pieces, my love goes on! I am all for being able to rent items without commitment. It allows me to try styles and brands I may never have otherwise! Plus, Gwynnie Bee has some of the best deals and incentives! With every purchase, closeted item, and returned pieces, you accrue member points that can be used to purchase items! These points can add up to either $5, $10, or a $15 discount! Gwynnie Bee also offers a variety of additional sales on at home items too! My Smak Parlour dress is a great example, due to their at home items sale I scored the dress for $45 instead of the regular price of $64.50! I often suggest Gwynnie Bee to my friends that are in need of new clothes going back to the office or if they are in between sizes as well. In addition, Gwynnie Bee has an outlet that members have access to where you can get even further discounted pre-worn items. I have scored some pieces through the outlet for as low as $9!
A service like Gwynnie Bee is a great option for someone like me that works from home, has been pretty isolated throughout the pandemic, but is trying to dip my toes into attending more social events. I have been laying low during the pandemic to protect vulnerable family members and myself, so I don't frequent malls too often. I am a self-proclaimed shopping fiend. Certainly, I do miss shopping dates with friends, but I also love the convenience of having killer fashions delivered right to my doorstep! No fitting rooms, no masks, no hand sanitizer-- just your girl trying out pieces from the comfort of her own home!
What are you waiting for-- especially with 50% off for your first month! This month's selections were absolutely adorable-- are you as eager as me to see what is in store for us next month?

Value Breakdown: Gwynnie Bee’s costs range depending on your subscription and how many items you are sent at a time. I have the $95 three-item-at-a-time plan. This includes free shipping and returns. I can get as many pieces as I like monthly, as long as I return each item first. I got six items this month. The six items total up to $343.50, which is $248.50 more than my monthly plan.
