Idk about anyone else but I RARELY get anything from the spoilers. Not even in the options or add-ons. And I’m worried they’re going down to only choosing 1 item after what I’m reading here. I’m canceling if they do that!

Hi Jen, I unpaused my subscription for July based on the spoilers, but, like you, the things in the spoilers were not part of my choices for the most part. I was pretty disappointed.

Molly, what correspondence did you receive from Ipsy? I got to choose 3 items for July, and I am not an annual subscriber to Glam Bag Plus, but I am annual on the regular Glam Bag.

That was not correct information.Ipsy picks 2 and you pick 3. Subscription addiction didn’t proof read what they wrote lol

Time will tell, but correspondence directly from Ipsy says the same thing. Maybe only annual subscribers get to pick more now?

I just re-subbed to Ipsy Plus for August because I’m low on products, but was disappointed to see that I can’t pick anything for August, and would only get to pick one item for October (since I’m on an every other month plan). Also, it’s unclear if they’re sending me a July or August bag, since it said different things in different places.

They’re a good deal when I receive products I use, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle.

Yes, but when I re-subscribed it specifically said that they would select everything for this bag, and I could choose one item for the next bag. Last time I subscribed it was two a month right from the start.

hopefully I get my July bag before I get to pick my August items…so glad I’m paying that extra $$ for delivery

This Glam Bag Plus article says “Glam Bag users can choose ONE item in their bag and Ipsy selects the others”…. I hope that is a misprint, and that us users can still choose THREE!!

This month, July, I received my IPSY Glam Bag Plus which contained only four items, none of which were supposed to be in my bag. I immediately contacted IPSY Customer Support, and explained that I had received the wrong bag. I received a response in less than 24 hours, and they said they were going to replace my bag, with the items that were spoiled for me. The only exception would be if they were out of a particular product. They indicated that I would receive the replacement in the next two weeks. I think that’s pretty great customer service. I’ve been subscribed to IPSY for many years, and although I’ve been fortunate enough to have experienced very few problems with my bags, or additional items I’ve ordered, I’ve found their CS to always be exceptional. I’ll keep you all informed, but so far I am really pleased with the proposed outcome.

I got the opposite response. I placed a shop order for a perfume mystery bag. 6 deluxe perfumes. I received 2 empty leaked bottled , I deluxe sample and 1 tiny freebie sized perfume sample. 5 not 6 items. I had to contact customer service over and over. First they refunded 1 item then I had to reexplain and they said OK 2 items then I had to reexplain and they said ok 3 items but the tiny sample is that brands deluxe sample so SOL on that one.like Ellis is an expensive brand. Each response had a long copy paste about how I was wrong and a bad customer. Ridiculous response. So fed up with tipsy. Time to cancel after being with them from the beginning.

Serious question: how hard is it to pack items for shipping? I was reading some product reviews at IPSY, and I saw a lot of people posting that they never received certain items that were supposed to be in their bags. I got my Glam Plus bag yesterday, and it had 2 *extra* items. However, today I received a shop order, and almost the entire order was missing. How hard is to look at an order sheet and put those items in a bag? I just don’t understand.

I am I interested in several things especially the serum. It’s been a while since the two faced mascara so I want that also. Hummm everything but the blush. August bag is cute!
