Everyone knows Sephora is a beauty store where you can find almost anything and everything related to makeup, skincare, body care, hair care, and self-care, but did you know they also frequently release curated limited edition sets? Sephora's curated sets aren't new, and today's review is on the newly released Mini Mascara Lashstash To Go Sampler set. It features five mascara samplers and a voucher to redeem for your choice of full-size mascara.
FYI – this kit is still available while stocks last!

First Impressions
This mascara sampler set is packaged in a pale purple box with ribbons of purple and pink across it. The mascaras are packaged neatly inside, and the back of the box has additional information about the mascaras included.
Don't lose this voucher- you need it to redeem for your free full-size mascara!
Don't forget that every Sephora purchase comes with two free samples of your choice! Since this set was more than $25, I also qualified for a free GWP-I chose a mini of the First Aid Beauty KP Body Lotion.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Limited Edition Box From Sephora
Huda Beauty Legit Lashes Double-Ended Volumizing and Lengthening Mascara in Extreme Black, 0.11 oz x 2 – Retail Value $15
Certificate redeems for the 0.28 oz x 2 mascara that retails for $29
I've used this mascara before, but I was happy to see it again. This is a dual-ended mascara that features both a volumizing wand and a lengthening wand. The volumizing mascara wand on its own is a great mascara, but when it's paired with the lengthening mascara, it is *chef's kiss*. Personally, I wouldn't use the lengthening side on its own the way I would the volumizing side, but the two paired together gives me fluttery lashes with great definition, length, and curl.

tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes™ 4-in-1 Mascara in Black, 0.07 oz – Estimated Value $7
Certificate redeems for the 0.24-ounce mascara that retails for $24
While I have tried all of the mascaras in this set at one point or another, this is the one that was the least exciting for me- maybe because this has been around the longest? Back in the day, this used to be Liz's favorite mascara (I can't remember which review of hers expressly claimed that this was her favorite, but here's a link to Haley's past review where she said the same thing!), and this really is a solid mascara for a little oomph. Personally, I just don't find it to have that extra "wow" factor that I look for in mascara- I think I would prefer more curl and length so that it would make my eyes look wide open.

Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Perfect Strokes Universal Volumizing Mascara in Black, 0.27 oz – Retail Value $11
Certificate redeems for the 0.45-ounce mascara that retails for $20
I adore this mascara- I was so happy when a full-size version came in a previous Allure Beauty Box. It does a great job of giving my lashes curl at the base so my eyes look wide awake, and my lashes look lengthened and more defined. The best part of this mascara is definitely the staying power, though- even when I wear it during a long day, it doesn't budge, smudge, or flake on me. This was a strong contender for being the mascara I redeemed my voucher for even though it isn't the highest-valued, because it really is that great.

Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara in Black, 0.08 oz – Estimated Value $8
Certificate redeems for the 0.27-ounce mascara that retails for $27.
By pure coincidence, I actually purchased the full size of this mascara right before getting this set to review (it was on sale and I had store credit to spend). If I didn't already own the full-size, this is another mascara I would have happily redeemed my voucher for. The thick, curved wand really helped to fan out my lashes without clumping, and while this did smudge a tiny bit on me, it wasn't anything truly bothersome.

Benefit Cosmetics BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara in Intense Pitch Black, 0.14 oz – Retail Value $14
Certificate redeems for the 0.30-ounce mascara that retails for $27
I've been using Benefit mascaras for so long that I remember the hype, years ago, when this was released for the first time. In the years since it has been released, I can see why it's become a best-seller for Sephora. The wand is slightly flexible, so when I am brushing it through my lashes I can feel the slight bend and you really get the sensation. that this mascara is coating every single lash with pigment. Because of the wand, I am able to get extra close to the base of my lashes, and I think I get more of a lifted, curled finish because of it. This is another mascara that gave me zero issues with clumping, and it didn't budge in the hot, humid weather, either.

Value – Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $29
Cost Breakdown: This kit costs $29 + free shipping, and I received $55 worth of mascara minis and a voucher to redeem for the full-size mascara of my choice that ranges in value from $20-$29
Sephora promised a value of $56 for this set, and the value of the mascara minis alone is only $1 less than the promised value. Then, you can add anywhere from $20-$29 in additional value depending on which mascara you redeem your voucher for.

Key Takeaways
Truly, I think this might be the best Lashstash set Sephora has released yet. Yes, I had tried all of these mascaras before, but that is to be expected if the curation is themed around best-selling mascaras sold at Sephora. This set includes a good mix of more newly released mascaras (Lancome, Rare Beauty) and classics that have been around for years (tarte, Benefit), and honestly, I don't think you can go wrong no matter which mascara you end up redeeming your voucher for. Personally, I'll be using it on the Huda Beauty mascara, and I am really excited for it to get here. Plus, the value on this set was fantastic- multiple mascara minis were the smaller travel-sized mascaras you can purchase in the same size from Sephora, rather than being tiny samples.
Other Things You Should Know
Can you still get this box if you order today? Yes! This is still available online, and you may also be able to find it at your local Sephora store.
Can the voucher be redeemed online? Yes! Sephora recently changed its voucher program to allow for in-store or online redemption. You can't redeem this at a Sephora inside JCPenney store, Kohl’s store, or Sephora Canada store, so the ability to redeem online is a great option for people who don't have a local Sephora but still want to take advantage of it (and when you do you get to add your two free samples to your order, even if you're not buying anything else).
Is it hard to redeem the voucher? No, but sometimes you have to enter the code a few times when there are letters that could be mistaken for numbers and vice versa. Your voucher has two barcodes at the bottom- you want to use the "certificate promo barcode" number and enter it in the space to enter coupons and make sure you include the dash near the beginning of the code.
Is shipping free? Shipping is free on all orders over $50 and costs $6.50 for orders under $50 (though since the pandemic started you can usually find a free shipping coupon for smaller orders that will stack with other coupon codes).
