The earrings of the month arrive in this small white box, simply packaged with an info card on top and your earrings tucked underneath. The card is an exciting preview of what's held within, and always gives a little styling inspo. I love the bubble braid trend but sort of forgot about it! I like doing the French braid style, so maybe I'll try them with my new earrings.

The front of the card shows a peek at the earrings inside your box, but INK+ALLOY's earrings all seem to come in a handful of color combinations, so what you see isn't necessarily exactly what you'll get. We're given a little tone-setting intro to the pair. And on the reverse side we're encouraged to channel vacation energy, whether or not we're traveling, with these earrings. They also always give a 15% off code toward any purchases made outside the subscription.

How super fun are these? I have always thought hoop earrings were so iconic, but every time I've tried a pair on they didn't feel "me"—but front-facing hoops are a different story. They dangle freely about and take themselves a little less seriously. The shades of mint are totally my speed too. I wear a ton of warm tones, and I find that this subtle cool tone—sort of in the turquoise family—adds nice contrast. This is a pair I'll enjoy for a long time, I can tell.

Verdict
After INK+ALLOY took a quick detour to the land of resin jewelry last month, I'm glad we're back in beaded territory. I love this iteration on hoops earrings and I'm really pleased with the mint color combo I received.
