The Office Box is a quarterly subscription box full of exclusive, officially licensed merch from the hit TV show. Inside, you'll find exclusive apparel, accessories, home goods, and more that you can’t get anywhere else for $39.99/quarter + shipping.
It’s hard to understate the phenomenon that was The Office when it was still being produced. If it is an indication as to the lasting effect it had on the fandom, the show ended in 2013 and this subscription box didn’t start until 2020. Fans – old and new – are still excited for The Office apparel and merchandise that this subscription provides in spades.
This box was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out our editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes.)
First Impressions
I review the DC Comics Worlds Finest Collection, which is also produced by CultureFly. I only mention it because I love how they create cool boxes. I don’t believe that is very common in subscription boxes and should be touted. This month's box features some things you'd see around the office.
What's In The Box?
"Office Doodles" Raglan Tee
This raglan tee features little doodles of familiar things from The Office. There are things like the stapler in the Jello, Kevin's spilled chili, and beets. Plus many, many more. I like the cartoonish aspect and that it's a short-sleeved raglan for summer time.
Coal Walk Beach Blanket
From the Season 3 episode "Beach Games," this quote is from Michael trying to inspire everyone to walk across hot coals, which he himself does not do. I like the idea of a beach towel for the summer box. I dig the fiery design. Since we have a pool, we have a ton of beach towels and this one will fit in nicely.
Florida Stanley Tiki Mug
In the eighth season episode "Tallahassee," Stanley gets to spend time in Florida without his family. So he's going to live it up. You too can live it up with this little tiki mug of Florida Stanley. It measures about 4-1/2 inches tall and fits in my hand well. The only problem is that you have to refill it often, and who wants to keep getting up if you're trying to relax? One nice thing is that it comes with its very own...
Florida Stanley Crazy Straw
To complement the tiki mug is this Florida Stanley crazy straw. It's pink and has a rubber sign on it with a FS quote: "Life is short. Live fast and leave a sexy corpse. That's one of my mottos." Words to live by.
The Office Postcard Set
I'm a big fan of writing letters and sending postcards. So I was excited they included this set of three The Office themed postcards. They include one of Schrute Farms, the office building, and another reference to the "Beach Games" episode. The backs are all the same. Now I just need to decide who to send these too.
Scranton Fanny Pack
Sometimes your summer outfit doesn't have any pockets. Here's a red fanny pack with black lettering. It says "Scranton" across the front with a smaller Dunder Mifflin logo below it. The zipper has a nice "The Office" rubber pull. Not sure if the fanny pack itself is a reference to an episode, but I think it was a good inclusion in this box.
Sabre Pyramid
Sabre is the company that buys Dunder Mifflin in Season 8. It's eventually liquidated, but the Scranton branch is saved. I think this is a little bit of a "deep cut" in terms of The Office references. So, if someone recognizes it, you know you've found a true fan.
Beach Games Sliding Pin
Here's another reference to "Beach Games" from when the coworkers sumo wrestle on the beach. I've never seen a pin that slides like this one. I think it's a great idea to have the two sumos able to slide into each other. Having said that, I found the pin to be a little unwieldy. It's a bit big and clunky. Good idea, though.
Kevin Hot Dog Tin Sign
One final reference from "Beach Games." This is a quote from ya boy Kevin. The sign measures 7-1/2 by 9-1/2 inches. I like it, but I rather they had used an image from the episode in question.
Verdict
Another good installment of The Office Box. The show has such a deep bank of things to pull ideas from and bring the show into reality. I personally really like the towel and the tiki mug/straw. They felt the most "summer" to me. The shirt, fanny pack, and postcards were right up my alley. The keyring, pin, and sign will make a lot of fans happy, but were not exactly for me. My only real complaint is that this box showed up after most of summer has wrapped up. CultureFly – which also produces DC Comic's World's Finest that I've reviewed in the past – has a habit of being a season behind schedule. It's not a total dealbreaker, since fans will keep all these items year round. But for things like the towel and tiki mug, it would have been nice to bust those things out right away. I guess there's always next year.

Value - Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $39.99/quarter + shipping
For the quarterly cost of $39.99, each of the eight products has an average value of $5. Even with the few items I didn't care for, I think this box's value easily exceeds the cost. The real value of this box is that these are officially licensed, exclusive items. You can’t buy these items on a shelf and, if you could, it would cost you well over $40, in my opinion. If you are a The Office fan or you know someone who is, I suggest reading some of our reviews and seeing if you’d like to receive all this exclusive The Office merch.
