We now have spoilers for the September 2022 Ipsy Glam Bag, as well as the bag reveal.

First, the bag:

“We know how much our Ipsters love the black Glam Bags for Halloween the past two years, so we decided to design another black bag for October,” says designer Joanne Wong. “To make the black Glam Bag more fun, we also used purple—the color of the year—as a pop.”

The color selection was spot on, but Wong took her October Glam Bag design to a whole other level with the textured spider web print over the smooth faux leather. And the silver spider-shaped zipper pull!? We’re obsessed. “It gives the Glam Bag a very Halloween vibe,” says Wong. “But it also can be a timeless black bag that you can use everyday after Halloween!”

What's in the bag for October?

Your bag may include:

1. ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Deluxe Magic Touch Concealer

This medium-to-full coverage cover-up just might be your next holy-grail item. Like its name says, the Deluxe Magic Touch Concealer has a certain magical quality to it that makes it perfect for those who want flexible, buildable, and hydrating coverage with a natural-looking, second-skin finish. Use it to spot conceal, highlight, contour, or all over as a foundation—the seamless application helps to hide your imperfections without caking or settling into wrinkles.

2. FIRST AID BEAUTY FAB Pharma Calamine Pore Purging Mask

Did you know that calamine isn’t only good for poison oak or chicken pox? It can also be used to draw out impurities from your skin. At least that’s what it does in FAB’s Pharma Calamine Pore Purging Mask, which also enlists the help of kaolin and bentonite clays, tea tree oil, and salicylic acid to unclog your plugged pores, slough off dead skin, control oiliness, and keep breakouts at bay.

3. ITEM BEAUTY Hey Hi Halo Liquid Highlighter in Electric

This glare-inducing liquid highlighter is like a lacquer for your skin, giving you dewiness, luminosity, and radiance without any unnecessary glitters. It’s infused with Japanese sakura blossoms, magnolia berries, and amino acids to weightlessly nourish and hydrate your skin, giving it a glass-like finish.

4. KOPARI BEAUTY Ultra Restore Body Butter with Hyaluronic Acid

This whipped body butter is infused with hyaluronic acid (a renowned hydration hero), and is clinically tested to help double your skin’s moisture immediately, leaving it so supple, soft, and feeling restored. The sweet coconut, jasmine, and tuberose neroli aromas alone will make applying this skin-soothing cream feel like a moment of reprieve.

5. HEY HONEY A.C.E It Vitamin Blend Hydration Enhancer

This skin enhancer is the closest equivalent to a complexion-healing seal for your skin. The antioxidant-rich blend of vitamins A, C, and E, as well as hemp oil, work together in this beauty-boosting serum to help protect your skin from free radicals and environmental stressors, stimulate collagen, reduce redness and irritation, and plump up fine lines and wrinkles.

6. CIATÉ LONDON Metallic Eyeshadow in Peach Party

Aptly named Peach Party, this shade dazzles with light-catching, multidimensional pigments that give eyes vibrancy and a gleam that’s hard to replicate.

7. CHELLA Manifest Bronze Eyeshadow Palette

These bronzy shadows are a winner, in our eyes. This travel-friendly palette makes getting that gilded-brown, night-on-the-town look so easy to achieve, you’d think that you manifested gold.

I enjoy writing reviews on the Glambags,
I really wish there was a spot to rate the actual BAG itself.
They have had some absolutely gorgeous bags, and some that were not so gorgeous 😂
This month’s bag design looks awesome, can’t wait to see it in person!

If you twitter, you can direct message the ipsy team from there. I find that it works a lot faster and they can fix any issue that you have. Just include pictures , that way they can add a different product to your bag.

Just to let everyone know the items above were available as a choice except the First Aid Beauty item and The Hey Honey item….I am hoping they will put those in my bag or at least have them in the add ons.

I just made my choice a little while ago and several of these weren’t available to me, so the options shown may depend on your beauty profile. Numbers 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7 were not on my list at all.

Same! I chose the Anastasia Beverly Hills concealer cause even thought the elf holy hydration was full size… it’s only like 11-13$ in a 2oz container. But I also didn’t have 2-3 and 5-7 as options on mine! I would’ve loved the hey honey ace!

Tina

I was offered all of them but the two I mentioned, I think they should offer everyone the same things.

Just a reminder today is choose day for the regular ipsy bag. Nice selection this month.

This is one of the nicest themed bags Ipsy has ever done. So cute! I love it.

I wanted to leave a comment that I have been with Ipsy on and off from the start and have never had an issue with shipping, missing bags, or stopping and starting my subscription. They seem to get alot of bad reviews on that. FYI I live in FLA if that makes a difference?

I’ve never had any issues with those things either. I’m not the best with technology and can still navigate the Ipsy site pretty well. Idk know why so many people complain here or act like MSA can do anything about their subscriptions.

If you are on social media, try messaging Ipsy directly on Facebook or Twitter. They have so many issues, I have to message them at least every other month! They will respond within a day or two on messenger and it’s an actual person, not a bot. Hope that helps.

I got excited when I saw the glam bag plus (which I don’t subscribe to) because it’s black and purple and so many cute little characters; fun! Then I saw the regular bag, major disappointment. I’ve cancelled the last 2 months because the bag’s were boring to me and, with the price increase and mostly things I don’t use, it’s not worth it. I’ll have to think on this one.

This looks like a decent bag, I skipped last month. I would love to try the Ansatia concealer, Any face oils is a plus, and this is a new brand to me. The eye shadows are pretty but look like they will be to metallic for me, I wish they would include more mattes for us “mature” woman. Same with the highlighter, can’t use those.
