Ok, ok, I am going to start by admitting that LILFOX is probably my favorite skincare line, like, ever. I even carry it in my esthetics studio. It manages to make skincare sexy and extremely active. And this Dewy Bean Dream is a perfect example of everything I adore about this brand. The texture is a slippery sort of gel that is best suited for night use as it leaves a slightly unique texture behind. It isn't bothersome in the least, but probably would never play well with makeup! In fact, this formula is designed specifically for evening use as a mask and should be one of your last steps before bed. This formula contains moth bean, which is a vitamin A-heavy retinol alternative that is great for smoothing and resurfacing skin without irritation. There is also hydrating hyaluronic acid, and exfoliating lactic and glycolic acids. I really love the smell of this formula, too! It features notes of citrus and powdery florals.
LILFOX Seabuck+Neroli Face Nectar, 1 fl oz - Retail Value $98

LILFOX makes some of the most exquisite oil blends I have ever used. And if you know me, you know I love oils! This one features a plethora of ingredients that are perfect for drier skin. I have always loved this oil for winter-stressed skin, meaning it should come in handy here very soon! The beautiful orange color comes from seabuckthorn oil, which is one of those oils that is so filled with vitamins and fatty lipids that it seems impossible. It is also an oil that has orange staining properties (I learned this the hard way once) so LILFOX has blended it with other great oils like watermelon seed, grapeseed, pomegranate, and red raspberry seed oil. These other oils dilute that orange tint and provide more moisturizing and antioxidant properties. This rich oil absorbs into my face beautifully and I also adore it on my cuticles. It smells like orange blossoms and sandalwood.
LILFOX Cupu-Cool Jelly Balm, 1.7 fl oz - Retail Value $98

My last item is a great example of how creative the formulas from this brand can be. It is a pot filled with a chartreuse-colored jelly-balm. And while the texture seems a bit unusual for a moisturizer, this stuff works magic! It is also designed to be multi-use. Slather it on thick as a mask and leave it be for a time before you wash it off or use a smaller amount as a normal moisturizer. It is filled with peptides and anti-inflammatory hemp, both of which are great for stressed and aging skin. It also has hyaluronic acid and fatty Cupuacu butter for long-lasting moisture. The smell here is a bit more earthy and herbaceous with notes of citrus and basil.
Verdict
This Laurel & Reed is maybe my favorite of all time. I always get so excited to see LILFOX in any box, which is high praise since I can always raid my own stock at my studio! Along with a very high value of $321, this box delivered three incredibly potent and luxurious products subscribers are going to love.
