Along with my beauty items, I received an info card that details what items are in the box. Welcome to spooky season! October may just be my favorite time of the year. It's the start of the "holidays" with the greatest one- Halloween! It's a time to be spooky, sassy, whatever the fall vibes bring you. I imagine I'll receive items that can make my costume (I haven't decided on one yet!) rock!

Keep those lips nice and moisturized in these upcoming colder months with this watermelon lip balm! The lovely scent of watermelon allows me to think of warmer summer days while going through our seasonal transitions. As with all Medusa's products, this balm is vegan and cruelty-free.

Am I the only one that would rather buy a new makeup brush than continue to wash the same ones over and over? Washing makeup brushes gives me anxiety, so I'm really grateful for this new shadow brush as my current two were getting old. Pink is my favorite color, so I'm really digging the hue and softness of the bristles.
Medusa's Disco Queen Lip Gloss (Super Freak), 6 ml – Retail Value $14.00

Continuing through our review with this jazzy pink gloss. I received this color in a previous Medusa's Makeup box and remember thinking the name 'Super Freak' fits the product perfectly, as I can see me wearing this at an event with Rick James playing in the background. The color screams "life of the party."

I really enjoy the color of this gloss. My only minor gripe is the glitter. Glitter is so hard to clean off! I used my coconut oil removal method, but needed to do it a few times before seeing no more traces of glitter.
Jelly Pong Pong Luna Light (Rose Halo), 10 ml – Retail Value $19.00

Enhance light at will with this rosy iridescent liquid luminizer. Ingredients of this highlighter include evening primrose and eyebright extracts. I wasn't sure what those ingredients were good for, but learned they are great at clearing up acne and just for overall skin health.

Verdict
This was a chic and fun October box from Medusa's Makeup! I went into this review thinking I'd receive more "spooky" items, but this bag was a welcomed surprise. I am completely in awe of the Luna Light luminizer. It highlights my cheeks perfectly, which is a confidence booster as I feel so dull in the colder months. The Medusa Palette also had such stunning colors! I can't wait to put together a saucy eye look.
