First Impressions
The first thing that caught my eye was that Usborne book! It has been on my wish list for the kids for awhile!
What's Inside This Box
Each box comes with a one-page insert with photos of the items on the front and a brief description with their values on the back. It also includes contact information and a disclaimer about how it is the responsibility of the adult to determine whether the items included are appropriate for the child. As someone with a Special Education background, I love that they include this since every child is unique and responds to various stimuli in different ways! There are some items that may not be appropriate for every child depending on those needs.
They included a nice motivational card for us right on top of our box.
The Unworry Doodle Book by Usborne Books - Retail Value $9.99
I love Usborne books! They are unique books that are great quality and they really appeal to kids! This Unworry doodle book has always caught my eye because it is great for kids who have anxiety or just simply need a moment to refocus. The pages are filled with little doodles to get you started, but really it is very open-ended so it works for all different types of personalities. I know this will be one my kids will enjoy working on when the occasion arises!
3D Magic Star Fidget by JA-RU - Listed Value $7.99 (similar item found here)
This was definitely the next thing that caught my eye. This fidget is bright and colorful and the repeating star shapes just draw you in visually. The kids thought it was really cool and the baby was especially drawn to it! The stars get smaller and smaller and you can pull them all down as a unit but they are sized just right so that you can't separate them. A great quiet fidget toy!
OddBallz Black Pearl Stress Ball by Play Visions - Retail Value $6.99
This stress ball is strange looking but very fun to manipulate. It has tiny black water beads inside of the milky pink squish ball which kind of reminds me of boba tea. This is a fun way to relieve stress and it's another great quiet fidget!
Sensy Band by Sensory Genius - Retail Value $5.95
We are no strangers to these Sensy Bands. They are so fun: like a slap bracelet coated in thick silicone with two different-sized bristles on either side. They are fun to play with and rub your fingers over for some tactile sensation, and you can either wear it as a bracelet or add some string to the holes at the ends to attach it to your bag! This one went straight to my teething infant's mouth and since it's all one piece, I felt it was safe for him to explore!
Honey Hive Putty by Crazy Aaron's – Retail Value $15.95
It's always a good day when we get some of Crazy Aaron's putty! They are always so creative and the quality is great meaning the kids get hours of play out of them! This one is especially fun thanks to the big flecks of gold glitter throughout and the tiny hard pieces that look like bees. The added textures make this a unique one for sure! This putty is also great for manipulating with your hands and working those muscles since it always starts out a little stiff but gets easier to play with as it warms.
