First Impressions
Bespoke Post always has a good presentation. They've recently redesigned their boxes/tape, but they are still instantly recognizable. I like that they have the perfect box or bag for any item you order. It box typically comes with a card to let you know what's inside, as well as a little bit about each item. However, this time it's just a link to check out more items to buy. There was also an advertisement for a box they are releasing for Black Friday.

TB Groupe Gourmet Slicer with Detachable Handle - Estimated Price $60
A good charcuterie board is all about presentation and that starts with the prep. Serve up fresh cuts of your favorite meat, cheese, and veggies in style with this gourmet slicer by TB Groupe. It measures 11 x 6 x 5 inches and is made with pine wood and a bit of stainless steel. The handle/blade locks in place with a simple wooden peg and is detachable for easy cleaning. At first, I wondered why not just use a kitchen knife? But it made such easy work of the pork salami (see below) that I immediately saw the appeal. It's smooth and consistent. I personally don't do much with charcuterie, but I see many pepperoni pizzas in my future. Clean up was easy and I like the simplistic locking mechanism. My only complain is the edges of the handle were a little sharp. A simple round-over would go a long way it making it feel more finished.
The website for this item is from outside the USA. The item sells for 50 Euro, which comes to about $60. I'm not sure what shipping would cost. I will say a quick internet search will produce cheaper results for similar items.
Brooklyn Cured Pork Salami - Estimated Price $12
Included with your new slicer is a log of pork salami. Made by Brooklyn Cured, each salami is inspired by a classic cocktail. You have a choice of Rye Whiskey and Orange Zest, Bourbon and Sour Cherries, or Mezcal and Lime. I went with the first option and I have to say ... I didn't enjoy it at all. I am not salami connoisseur, but if I could do it over I'd maybe try the Mezcal and Lime. I would have loved the option to try all three. However, I'm not confident I would have enjoyed any of them. I think it was really cool of them to include a meat to use your new slicer on. This item is sold in packs of three for $36. So I estimated this single item at $12.
Verdict
I must have been hungry when I made my choice from Bespoke Post this month. While the slicer worked like a charm, I was a bit underwhelmed with the feel of it. I suppose I could sand the edges on my own, but wish they had thought to do it at the factory. I probably won't reach for this very often, but next time the wife and I are entertaining and there is a lot of slice to do, I'll look smart whipping out this thing and making short work of all the slicing. The salami it came with was disappointing. Perhaps it was just not my taste, but, again, I would have loved the option to see if there was a flavor I liked. While underwhelmed, the item was exactly what I ordered and that's on me. I was thinking of returning it, but decided to keep it. Whether in the kitchen, shop, or yard, it's always great to have the right tool for the job when you need it.
Let's Talk About Value
This box clocks in around $72. That is $18 saved with this subscription ($54 including shipping), which is on the low end of what we're used to. It would have been nice to receive all three meat flavor options to up the value of the box.
