Panda Crate is a bi-monthly subscription from KiwiCo for ages 0-36 months. You will receive one crate every 2 months which comes out to $20.95 per month or $41.90 per crate with free shipping. Boxes are curated based on the science of early development with materials that are practical, helpful, and convenient for parents. In fact, they actually consulted researchers at Seattle Children's hospital to make sure everything is well suited for each stage of your child's brain development.
This review is of KiwiCo's Panda Crate (for ages 0-36 months), which costs $41.90 per month.

First Impressions
Our theme for this box is "Chat with Me" and my 9-month-old certainly can chat and babble! This looked like it had some fun stuff inside!
What's Inside This Box
This Wonder magazine was divided into four categories; grow, learn, play, and connect. My son is certainly babbling, screeching, and talking a lot these days, so this topic felt very appropriate!
These four "Beyond the Crate" cards provided a few activities we could do and listed the ages at which it would be appropriate to do them.
The next set of cards gave detailed information about each of the items we received in our box. Let's check them out!
Pull-Along Wagon
This little wagon is so cute and it looks like it is an updated version of what they had been sending in previous years. The wagon seems well made and it is just big enough that he can crawl on the floor and wheel it around. It also has a bed perfect for putting small toys in. When he is actually walking, that rope will be great for pulling it around!
Stacking Animals
These wooden stacking animals fit perfectly inside our wagon. They are nice and chunky, making them easy to hold and the minimal design is a fun aesthetic. They are made from solid beechwood with a non-toxic water-based varnish over them, so they should hold up to the baby mouthing them as well! Not only can they fit inside the wagon, but you can balance them on top of one another, too. We are a little ways off from being able to do that yet, though!
Poppy Says Hello Board Book
Each box always comes with a book and this is a fun one that involves counting various farm animals. It's perfect for pointing out animals, their sounds, and of course, counting. It's a great way to teach some vocabulary and very cute. Another book that I'm sure will grow with him since my older kids liked it too!
Peek-a-Boo Barn
This barn is so cute! It has three different peek-a-boo doors that open to reveal three different animals. They open using the tension of the elastic bands which actually makes me wonder about the longevity of this toy, however, the tension provides just enough of a challenge for his little fingers. It looks like the elastic bands could easily be replaced if needed, though!
Mooing Cow
This stuffed cow is very cute and actually a nice-looking toy to display! It is made from a soft natural cotton canvas and it has added texture with the rope details which are perfect for grabbing. It's actually kind of big which is fun, but the best part is that it makes sounds when you tip it upside down. It's one of those old-school sounds where you can hear the air leaving it which makes a very subtle moo sound.
He really loves the noises from the cow!
Value - Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $41.90
This month we received 5 different toys along with some helpful guides and parenting advice. That comes out to about $8.38 per toy, which isn't bad for the quality toys we received. They were all developmentally appropriate and engaged my son, but will easily grow with him, too, which always adds some value.
Key Takeaways
This month's box didn't wow me as much as previous boxes had, but I was still happy with the quality and I love that my son is drawn to the toys! He is happy to push his wagon around and listen to that cow and I'm glad to have just a few more toys to hold his attention since lately all he wants to do is get into the things that aren't quite as safe for him!

To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes, this is one of the boxes they send during the 0-36 month age window. Panda Crate is more of a "line" of boxes from KiwiCo than a typical subscription model with different themes each month. When you sign up, you input your baby's age or your due date and they'll send you the appropriate box for your child's age and development at the right time. (Good to know: you can pick what month you want your first box to arrive. By default, it will arrive the month of your due date.)
