Friends Box Winter 2022

Friends Box

The Friends Box is a quarterly subscription box filled with exclusive, officially-licensed merch from the hit TV show. Each box comes with collectibles, apparel, and friends-tastic accessories based on beloved characters, memorable episodes, and seasonal cues. This Friends Box was inspired by the holiday season and episodes.

The Friends Box starts at $35.99 per box and ships every quarter.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the editorial guidelines to learn more about how we review boxes).

First Impressions

I was excited to get this box because I thought about all the cool gift ideas. Unlike the previous boxes, this one felt a little short of excitement. I liked a couple of pieces, but I wish they had more fun and more creative options. Still, some pieces in here will cheer you up!

What’s Inside the Box

Sweatshirt

Perhaps my favorite item of the whole box. This cute sweatshirt feels ultra cozy inside because it’s lined with fleece fabric. The Christmas theme makes it the perfect pick for an ugly sweater party or just to wake up Christmas morning to enjoy a coffee down at Central Perk.

Treat Totes

At first, I thought these were tote bags, so I was thrilled to use them as grocery bags. However, these are relatively small treat bags. You can use them as gift bags instead. At least, that’s what I’m planning to do.

Candy Mold

This is one of those items I wish they had changed for something else. After all, how many of us actually make candy at home? They’re not really related to Friends, so I don’t see the point of having them. Still, I plan to use them as giant ice molds instead to add some holiday cheer to my drinks.

Wrapping Paper

This is very, very cute. The design on it will make any Friends fan go crazy about it. It’s high-quality wrapping paper and enough to cover a small-to-medium box or to make a small gift bag.

Garland

While I’m a huge fan of the show, I don’t really see myself using these…like ever! The only occasion I think someone will use these is if they’re having a Friends-theme holiday party. Otherwise, this feels pretty useless.

Holiday Armadillo Snowglobe

The snow globe made me smile. I’m a huge fan of snowglobes, and I can’t help but crack up remembering the episode with the Holiday Armadillo. It’s a cute piece that goes well with the other character collectibles, so I appreciated this pick.

Pillowcase

The pillowcase is really festive and on-theme with the Friends box. Having said that, the material feels more synthetic than cozy. It has a waterproof tote bag-like material that I’m not sure would look as cute as I wish. Still, it’s a lovely bright Christmas decor piece to have.

Was the Box Worth It?

This box includes $100 worth of products. To me, just the wrapping paper, treat totes, and sweatshirt make the $35.99 worth it. Then you have the snowglobe and pillowcase that also add value to this box.

To Wrap It Up

Is this box still available? No! However, there is still time to subscribe and receive the next box before it’s sold out.

You can use the molds and use room temperature butter and make butter sculptures that sell out every year at the grocery. Just pop it in and mold it and then back in fridge to harden.
