This quarter’s theme of the Pusheen Box is gaming (or 'I'm Busy'). The design of the box is really cute, as always, but definitely plays nicely with the theme. I myself have never been much of a gamer until more recently, so I am super interested to see what kind of items have been selected for such a curation. Let’s check it!

PUSHEEN BOX Pusheen Gaming Vinyl Figure

One of the main staples of the Pusheen Box is a vinyl figure, and this one so nicely fits the quarter’s theme. Here we have Pusheen and a friend gaming; talk about adorable. As always, the craftsmanship of the piece is on point, and it feels very durable, sturdy, and well-made. If you’re a collector, you will definitely appreciate this. I’ll be passing along this figure to a younger cousin of mine, who is both a gamer and a fan of Pusheen, and I’m sure they are going to love it.
PUSHEEN BOX Ornament

What an adorable ornament! The design features Pusheen and a little gamer friend, each holding gaming controllers. There’s a cute phrase on the ornament as well: “Level Up!” I love the sentiment because it brings inspiration for the new year, which is quickly approaching. I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions, but I do appreciate the process of striving toward a good, achievable goal for self-betterment, and this ornament serves as a great reminder of that.
PUSHEEN BOX Cable Bite
Now, this cable bite is just the thing I need to protect one of the many pesky cords I deal with in my everyday life. Sticking beautifully with the theme, we have Pusheen with the gaming controller. I love how thick this cable bite is. In case you’re unsure of what a cable bite is, it’s used to provide protection for the most sensitive part of any device wire: where the cord meets the plug. I’ve had many wires fray or crack on me over the years, but once I started using cable bites like this one, I’ve been able to extend the life of my wires. Plus, it’s really cute and brings a smile to my face every time I see it, and the craftsmanship of this particular item is on point.
PUSHEEN BOX Mouse Pad and Wrist Rest

As a dedicated laptop user for the past decade or so, I haven’t had the need for a mouse pad or a wrist rest aside from a few occasions. This set is so sweet. The mouse pad shows Pusheen gaming with two friends, and the wrist rest is Pusheen gaming alone, all cozied up with a snack, and the phrase, “I’m Busy.” Talk about perfection. I love these two pieces, and although I won’t be using them, they will find a good home with my younger cousin, whose go-to device is a desktop computer.
PUSHEEN BOX Laptop Sleeve

I’ve been in need of a new laptop sleeve since I tend to shove my laptop into my backpack, and the sleeve I’m currently using is a bit too bulky for the already cramped space. Lo and behold, this glorious Pusheen themed device sleeve has arrived at just the right time. I love the texture; it’s lightweight and doesn’t add a lot of bulk, but when you feel it in your hand, you can tell that it has more than enough cushion to keep your devices safe. The size is perfect for a 13-inch laptop, but anything larger than that would be too large. You can also fit any size tablet, Kindle, etc. I’m so thrilled to have this, and did I mention how cute the design is? The front of the sleeve says, “Weekend Plans,” and it shows a scene with Pusheen video chatting away with friends on a laptop, each with a headset on. Not only is this adorable, but I gotta say, these are my kind of weekend plans for sure.
PUSHEEN BOX Hoodie

This hoodie is giving me some serious retro game vibes with all the different colored cubes and whatnot. Tetris, anyone? I also appreciate the lightweight fleece lining on the interior of the hoodie. The color is not one I typically would choose for myself when it comes to a piece of clothing, but I do have to say, it’s a very pretty mint color and I’m starting to really love it. On the upper left side, there’s a graphic of Pusheen holding a gaming controller – perfectly on theme and absurdly cute. The back of the hoodie features a giant Pusheen graphic, which makes it extra fun. I love this. For me, it’s a bit oversized but I love an oversized hoodie personally.
PUSHEEN BOX Beanie

Now, when it comes to beanies, I have a bit of an odd-shaped head so it’s something I feel a bit self-conscious about. Hence, I tend to avoid any type of head garb other than a baseball cap to protect my face from the sun when I’m getting in some exercise outdoors. I am a huge fan of the stitched design of this beanie, and I find it to be surprisingly comfortable as long as I have my hair up in a bun. It stays on pretty securely. Plus, the ‘I’m Busy’ sentiment really resonates with me, and I love it.
My Verdict
I thought this was a fantastic Pusheen Box! The highlight for me is the hoodie, which I’ve been wearing almost nonstop in the house because it’s literally that cozy and cute. Even the brightness of the color helps to elevate my mood. The beanie is a perfect accessory to add to my winter wear because it really does keep my head nice and toasty. I am obsessed with the device sleeve. Not only is it adorable but it’s also functional, and I enjoy the lightweight cushion that it provides. Going perfectly with the gaming theme is the mouse pad and wrist rest set. The graphics on the two items are adorable, and although I don’t really have a need for either of them, my younger cousin will get some great use out of the set. Another thing my younger cousin will have the opportunity to enjoy is the gaming-themed vinyl figure, which feels sturdy and durable, like it was made to last. The Pusheen cable bite is an essential for protecting the most delicate part of any device cable, and I’m happy to have such a cute one. Lastly, the ‘Level Up!’ ornament, which is a perfect addition for the holiday season. Overall, this was a great box with a varied curation while maintaining the ‘gaming’ theme the whole way through.
