Included were helpful cards and a booklet with loads of details about this box featuring two formulas from Henné. I have tried a few of this brand's lip products and 2 have made an appearance in this curation along with a facial oil. Let's dive in!
The Products
Illumine Face Oil, 30 mL - Retail Value $111

Ok, wow. This bottle of facial oil practically screams LUXURY. The packaging is beautifully executed and the heavy black glass bottle inside is worthy of any vanity display. The cap is also super sleek, with the dropper top ascending as you unscrew it. Inside is liquid gold and a heavenly aroma of jasmine flowers, roses, and ylang-ylang. I love a product that hits all of my senses and this one truly does all of that beautifully. The fragrance is a beautiful background to the silky golden oil that glides into my skin and absorbs easily, leaving behind pure velvet. It is an especially luxe experience if you use it with a chilled gua sha. The ingredients are very lipid and antioxidant focused, creating a beautiful experience for all skin types but especially stressed-out and dry faces. While most are worth a call-out, I will leave you with my favorites: antioxidant-rich tea seed oil, seabuckthorn oil, and cloudberry oil.
Lip Mask, 15 mL - Retail Value $37

That facial oil is a hard act to follow, but my lips really need some attention after a very cold then warm then freezing winter season. I am also someone who tends to chew her lips when stressed, or even when just thinking too hard. Lip masks like this are a great way to treat and protect your lips while you sleep. With ingredients like rosehip seed oil, avocado oil, and calming black cumin, this peppermint and orange-scented balm is a dream for overnight lip repair.
Luxury Lip Balm, 10 mL - Retail Value $22

I can't think of a better way to seal in the benefits of that lip mask than with this nourishing lip balm. It appears a little basic at first glance, but this concoction of coconut oil, beeswax, shea, jojoba, and vitamin E is literally built to make your lips soft, soothed, and smooth. It is also a fantastic balm for dry elbows and even cuticles. It is scent free but does have a coconut oil aroma that I found to be very pleasant.
Verdict
This was a really welcome Beauty Heroes curation. Somehow this box always delivers exactly the items I seem to need. And with my lips in dire straights, the lip mask and balm are my new winter heroes. And a luxury face oil? You will literally never see me disappointed. The overall value this month is $170 and the products are all winners. Be sure to snag this month's box before it sells out.
