CatLadyBox is a monthly subscription box for cat ladies (or anyone who is crazy about cats)! The $34.99 per month CatLadyBox has 2-3 cat-themed items – wearables, items for the home, books, etc., while the $39.99 per month Crazy CatLadyBox contains everything from the CatLadyBox plus a few items just for cats.
This is a review of the Crazy CatLadyBox.

First Impressions
As soon as the box arrives, you know your cat-loving heart is in for a good time. Everything arrives in a brown cardboard box with a black cat silhouette on it. Once you open it up, you can expect to find anything from cat-themed jewelry, clothes, home decor, and more. If you subscribe to the Crazy CatLadyBox, you'll also get a few treats for your furbaby, too.
This box does come with an info sheet, and each month they typically feature custom artwork, however this month featured a vintage peice originally by Carl Kahler (1856-1906) and then later restored by aLaCartePrints.etsy.com.
The Breakdown – What’s Inside This Crazy Cat Lady Box
First, let's meet the cat that will be helping me to review this box. If you've been reading my MSA reviews for a while, you may remember my old cat, Duchess. Duchess is no longer here with me, and after a few months, I felt ready to get another cat companion. Meet Sir Goose! I adopted him when he was one month and twenty-two days old, and he was 2.2 pounds. Now he is two years old and he loves toys—I have yet to find a toy he won't play with.
Goose turned two at the beginning of April, and he weighs in at fourteen pounds! He's not overweight though, per his vet- he is just a proportionally big boy.
“Ask Me About My Cat” Shirt - Retail Value $22.99
I am such a big fan of the shirts this subscription sends. They’re comfortable enough to sleep in, stretchy enough to move with you if you’re working out, and a lot more interesting than my typical plain black shirt or LSU shirt. I am in the process of moving to a new city for a new job and am purging a lot of my belongings and old clothes, but the cat shirts are staying (or, well, moving. With me).
“Best Cat Mom” Water Bottle - Retail Value $10.99
This is a solid water bottle. It’s not going to keep things super icy cold since it’s not insulated, but it’s a fun color and has a wide mouth for me to be able to add in loads of ice. It fits a good amount of water, and I like the design.
Cat Photo Frame - Retail Value $19.99
This silver cat-face frame was cute on its own when I first saw it, but it became extra special when I realized it could be used with one of the other items in the box. It’ll fit any 3x5” photo or print, and it has a nice weight to it.
Paw Print Ink Pad - Retail Value $14.99
When I realized what this was, I was so touched and excited- I am absolutely enthralled with the idea of being able to get Goose’s paw prints, especially in a mess-free way like this set! I will admit Goose wasn’t a huge fan of the process (big dramatic baby), but I was able to persuade him to come close enough for me to grab him by luring him over to me with the stinky stock toy that came in this month’s box.
Here are some of my attempts. I wanted to be artistic and get two prints on one page, but then that became harder to do without any of the prints smearing.
Here is the best one in the frame!
Catnip Stinky Sock Toy - Retail Value $5.99
I love when Goose comes over to investigate the box when I am unboxing it- it’s fun to see which toy he is drawn to when they’re laid out in front of him and he has his choice.
He went for this one, and I wasn’t shocked because he does love a good toy on a stick.
The sock toy became involved in getting those prints from Goose, because he wanted the toy more than he didn’t want me to grab his prints.
Happy Hippo Catnip Toy - Retail Value $4.99
I love hippos- they’re so fat and cute. I know in real life they’re incredibly dangerous, but this is the safety of my bedroom where it’s stuffed with catnip and there’s a heart on his butt.
Goose enjoyed licking and smelling the happy hippo when he was taking a break from the stinky sock.

Key Takeaways
I love that every year CatLadyBox focuses on cat moms during the month of May. While I am not someone who believes that being the parent to a pet is the equivalent to being a parent to a human, it definitely is nice to feel that extra little bit of appreciation, especially since Goose is a cat and doesn't understand things like "searching for a new place to live" and "finding the perfect rental house with a stunning kitchen" and "oh, I have a terrible cat allergy and cats aren't allowed." Not that I recently fell in love with a rental house that I became ineligible for because the owner was allergic to cats or anything. I absolutely squeezed with delight when I realized this box had sent us an ink pad to be able to take prints of our kitty's paws, and that's the kind of delightful surprise I've come to suspect from this subscription. While you won't love every single thing 100% of the time, I find myself very happy with the mix of whimsy and practical goods that arrive on my doorstep, all with a fun cat theme. If you're looking for fun cat-themed items you can enjoy around your home and share with your feline friend, you're going to see a lot more value in this box than someone who is going strictly off of listed values (or who desires brand name products in a box).
