Your Bijoux Box is a monthly jewelry subscription for $49.99. Each box contains 3 pieces of custom-designed jewelry, exclusive to the box, plus a bonus item, with a total retail value of $200.
Your Bijoux Box gives you a choice of your favorite metal. This month’s designs are plated in 18k gold; though there is a silver-only option. Besides metal preference, you can also select whether or not you want earrings, and put in your ring size.
The best part is that Shana, the owner, is very accommodating. I usually choose not to receive earrings because I don't have pierced ears; but some months I want to gift my set to my mother or sisters (who do have pierced ears). I simply message Shana through Facebook messenger (email also works) and ask for earrings that month. It’s never been a problem for her to make that happen!

April's theme was "Jodi’s Dragonflies” and it's such a fun spring theme! Shana, the auteur behind Your Bijoux Box, created this collection as a tribute to her sister Jodi’s favorite childhood memory: chasing dragonflies.
The set is stunning and I’m happy to share that each piece of jewelry arrives in its own plastic bag. This prevents them from tangling in transit. They arrived in a blue and purple box decorated with a gold dragonfly sticker. I love how much care goes into even the smallest detail!

Jodi’s Dragonflies Necklace

As is always the case with Your Bijoux Box jewelry, each piece fits well with the theme of the collection. These sparkly dragonflies dance around your neck. Each has a different set of colored CZs on its wings. They’re delicate but eye-catching; even the chain sparkles and shines!
The necklace closes with a slider clasp that is adorned with two sparkly CZs on the end. That makes it super easy to put on and to adjust to the length of your neckline.
Jodi’s Dragonflies Bracelet

The darling bracelet is simple but sweet. It's perfect for those who like minimalist designs but is adorable enough to stand on its own. I’ll bet it would look good layered with a stack of chunky gemstone bracelets; I’m going to have to try that!
Like the matching necklace, the bracelet has a slider closure with two sparkling CZs dangling from it. The slider makes putting on this jewelry quick, easy and painless! Also, the bracelet is a great length: I have 7.5 inch wrists and large hands but I can still slip it over them.
Jodi’s Dragonflies Earrings

These earrings are incredibly cute and very unique; I’ve never seen anything like them. I’m so impressed by the creativity of the design. Anyone could do a dragonfly stud or dangle, but to combine them turns them into something special! They’re a great length too. Not too long for minimalists to feel comfortable in, but enough to make a statement.
Spring Sakura Body Butter - Handmade by Shana

Please note, there is an error on the label. This is actually body butter. I let my mom try it but forgot to warn her, so she tried using it as a body wash! Unsurprisingly, she said it didn’t lather. Oops! Sorry, mom!
It’s an amazing body butter: thick, creamy and indulgent. Plus the scent is incredible. It takes me back to my youth when all the girls wore “Japanese Cherry Blossom” body products from Bath & Body Works. I like it so much that I’m hoping Shana will sell extras on her website.
Speaking of Shana, she’s the owner and designer of Your Bijoux Box. Not only does she design every piece of jewelry in each box, she hand-makes each month’s bonus item. And she’s very, very good at it. I’ve made soaps, lip balms and body scrubs so I can tell you that they’re not easy to make. Shana is far more gifted than I am! I hope to see a section on Your Bijoux Box’s site with her body care items for sale. HINT, HINT!
The Verdict

Though this is my sixth year receiving Your Bijoux Box, every month I’m still excited to open the little blue bag. The “Jodi’s Dragonflies” collection is so lovely. My sister modeled it for me this month (thanks, Cindy!) and she just loved how fun and very sparkly the set was. Taking the photos outside in the sun, the gold was literally blinding! We had to hurry and get the photos because the shine was so intense.
As for the design, I’m not usually a fan of anything with insects–bugs scare me, so I’m shocked just how much I love this collection! It manages to be fun, whimsical and grown up at the same time! That’s quite a difficult thing to accomplish.
For me, Your Bijoux Box jewelry is a step above most jewelry subscriptions, because the jewelry is dipped in sterling silver or 18k gold. Also, unlike most jewelry boxes, the stones used aren’t cheap pieces of glass; they’re genuine CZs that sparkle like crazy. CZ, or Cubic Zirconia, is a manmade stone that is harder than most gemstones (meaning less likely to chip or break) and is close to the shininess of a diamond. Thanks, Wikipedia!
As for the stated retail value of $200, I feel it is more than fair. Cubic Zirconias, sterling silver or 18k gold plate and the fact that you receive gorgeous, high quality jewelry that is exclusively found in this box, is definitely worth at least that much.
All of these pieces of jewelry were designed by Shana, the owner of Your Bijoux Box. It’s obvious she puts a lot of care into every collection. Each set isn’t just beautiful, it’s well curated. All the boxes have themes that are timely, fit the season, and are on trend.
