Each box costs $99, but will have a value of over $250 featuring 6-8 items from well-known brands like Aloha, Havaianas, Roxy, Billabong, Nixon, DIFF Eyewear, and more.
When you first sign up for Beachly, you'll fill out a few preferences to tailor your box to you such as top and bottom size and your shoe size.

Beachly Lifestyle Box Summer 2023
The Beachly Summer 2023 Lifestyle box is one of my favorite Beachly boxes to date. It is full of neutral colors and materials, which gives the products that natural and laid-back vibe that is classic but easy to pair with other items you might have in your home or closet. While everything in the box is similar to items that have come before them, I think they are also original enough that subscribers will be happy with the choices for this season. On top of that, they are all quality and functional products. This Beachly box knocked it out of the park for the 2023 summer season.
This season also offered two different customization choices (three if you count the towel design and colors) and while I did not receive all customization products to review, I loved the ones I did receive.
ALLJOY BEACH TOWEL IN PALM by Spartina 449 (Customizable) - Listed Value $56

The first customization for the 2023 Beachly Summer box is between a beach cover-up and an Alljoy beach towel. While I love a good cover-up, I also have a hard time saying no to a quality beach towel. Especially ones as cute as the options for this season. I was very close to picking the warm colors of the pineapple, but decided I liked the ocean vibes the palm tree was giving off.
The towel is large and has a great date palm design with tropical flowers and a cool blue background. It's not the thickest towel I have ever owned, but it's also not the thinnest and feels to be a good cotton quality. I'm one of those people that can never own enough beach towels, so this choice was a no-brainer for me.

SANDY COVE PACKABLE HAT by Beachly (Customizable) - Listed Value $45

This is a really cute beach hat that I think was a great addition to the summer box. I wasn't feeling the white tank top as the other option and I think a fun hat is always a good idea. I'm not sure about it's "packability" despite being described as packable. I mean, it definitely can be packed, but mine came out of the box with a few wrinkles and a little bent. I'm sure it will straighten out over time, but I don't think its a hat that is going to elude the crushing weight of clothes when you throw it into your suitcase. Nevertheless, it's an adorable hat and I'm really happy I chose this option.
The brim isn't super wide if you are looking for something to keep the sun entirely off your face, but it still does the trick and is pretty lightweight as well. It's definitely a great pool day hat that you can take from day to night if you decide to stay out a bit later.

ISLA JUTE SEASHELL TOTE by Salt + Umber - Listed Value $149

I love this tote and the summer vibes it's giving off. It's definitely a fun bag for this season's Beachly Box and I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it. It seems to be pretty well-made and I love that it has a a magnetic clasp inside to keep everything contained.
I do not agree with the listed value as $149, however. This is a great little beach bag and I think most people will be happy to have it, but I'm not sure the price is consistent with comparable bags. Growing up in Florida, I've seen many similar bags for well below half this price in all of the touristy gift stores. It doesn't take away from the bag at all, but I think the price tag is a bit of a stretch.
BOMBSHELL CATCHALL TRAY by Beachly - Listed Value $44

This is a fun little catchall try that has a great seashell design. It's small enough so that you can put it in those little spots to catch your keys and change, but also big enough so that everything doesn't just fly right off when you throw it in.
I doubt I'll keep it out all year, but it's definitely a decor piece that will be pulled out the moment the temperature hits about 75 degrees.
COCONUT BEACH CANDLE by Backyard Candles - Listed Value $12

This candle is super cute! I love the coconut shell it comes in and it smells great! It has hints of vanilla, but not in a heavy, wintery way. It actually reminds me of the way you smell after you've spent an entire day at the beach and just got out of the shower, but still have a bit of that salty air smell to you. I also love that it's handmade right here in the US!
SEA SALT SURF FRESHENER by Broken Top - Listed Value $8
I've bought my fair share of car fresheners and usually the smell is not so great. It's always a really fake version of whatever they are trying to imitate. This one has actually a really nice smell though. It is, however, pretty strong. I ended up taking it out of my car and putting it into our mud room where my kids leave all their shoes and cleats and used it as a great freshener for that area. And yes, it held up to their shoe stench!
I never think these last as long as promised, but this one has held its own for about a week now.
Verdict
I really enjoyed this Beachly Summer box. There wasn't a single piece that really stood out, but everything that was included was a really solid product that was actually functional and not just a novelty item or cheap trinket thrown in. I would gladly take a box like this over one that has one super nice item and the rest is junk. This was well-rounded and the products chosen were quality pieces. I'm hoping future Beachly boxes follow this trend!
