I always find hair products a little harder to write about because talking about the ingredients doesn't come as naturally to me as it does in skincare. It is much easier to give you insight into how hair products smell and make my hair feel rather than venturing into actual hair benefits which I am less qualified for. What I can say here is that both of these formulas feel great and the duo left my hair feeling soft and shiny.
The formulas actually reminded me very much of Act+Acre in how the cleanser cleansed my roots without stripping them, and the conditioner was thick and nourishing. Even the scents were similar, if you have ever experienced Act+Acre. Think creamy, earthy, and very natural, but in a refined sort of way. I tend to have a pretty minimal haircare routine that consists of washing 2-3 times a week and air drying in a way that encourages my hair's natural wave. These formulas are ideal for that type of routine. I took both of these down to Tennessee with me on my last trip and my mom really, really wanted to keep them. This means I will be ordering her her own box I guess!

This stuff is great! I am normally hesitant to use scrubby formulas on my scalp because sometimes the little particles can get stuck in my thick tresses. I didn't have an issue with that here at all! I also have to mention how great this formula made my dry and irritated scalp feel. It was like a deep conditioner for that skin that left it healthier and happier, without adding grease or oil like some scalp treatments can. I wish so badly this was a larger tube because it is also a dream on dry elbows and knees! Much like the hair duo, it has a very earthy but lovely smell that is much more pretty than hippie.

My last item this month is a generously sized tube of body creme. This formula feels so good on dry hands, elbows, and knees. It contains nourishing shea butter and squalane and smells like citrus and neroli. I ended up taking this to work and leaving it as a midday treat. The smell and softness are a perfect mid-afternoon luxury, and I have since had to hide it from my coworkers.
Verdict
Beauty Heroes had me feeling pampered from head to toe this month. We don't usually see haircare often from this box, but when we do, it's an amazing curation! The shampoo and conditioner duo feel like pure luxury and leaves my hair looking and feeling great. The scrub works on my head as well as my body, and the body cream is an absolute dream. The overall value this month lands at $142 for a cost of $58.95.
