Usually the front of the card showcases a little styling inspiration for the earrings of the month, but this times they've taking the route of providing a refreshing cocktail recipe in bold text. On the back is information about the charitable cause of the month, as well as care instructions.

The earrings of the month are these hand-beaded, dangling posts that take a double circle shape. I'm living for the blue, mustard, coral, and white color combo, and I love that they are backed with soft felt. The Monica Double Stripe earrings come in three color variations. You never want to see an item you received in a subscription listed for sale, but even still, the cost of these earrings exceed the cost of the box.

Given the colorful beads throughout these earrings, I was surprised that from afar, they look mostly white. But I do like the way they pop! I had seen them on the INK+ALLOY website before and envisioned them being larger and hanging lower than they do, but as they are, they're a little easier to wear for more occasions. I reach for earrings pretty much every day, however if I'm wearing something super-casual, going for a ridiculously large pair sometimes feels extreme.
Verdict
These beaded earrings are a fun, easy pair to wear with everyday outfits. I love the color combo I received, and while I was surprised that from far away the white borders are really what shows up, I still like this pair and how visible they are.

Value Breakdown: The INK+ALLOY Insider subscription costs $25 per month + free shipping. For July, we were sent one of three colorways of beaded dangly earrings. At full retail, they cost $30, but they're currently marked down to $25.50. That ranges from a 16% discount (from full price) to an almost 2% discount (from the sale price). I think we'd all prefer to think of it the 16% way! Typically the savings in this box is that much or higher.
