First Impressions
Each month, Nourish Beauty Box usually arrives in a box with an info card that has a quick overview of the box on one side and more detailed information about the products included on the other.
The first thing I noticed about this month’s box was the lack of packaging. No box, no card; the four products were just floating around in a bubble envelope. A bit of an odd presentation and one I hope doesn’t continue. We shall see.
Now, on to the items!
NOURISH NATURALS Cocoa Glaze Lip Stain in Guru, 4 ml - Retail Value $16.00

Nourish Naturals’ lip products have been a regular staple of this subscription box for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always been a fan. This Cocoa Glaze Lip Stain is a lovely product. Its formula provides the hydration of a lip mask while leaving behind a long-lasting pop of color. Unfortunately, this shade, ‘Guru,’ is not for me. It’s got more of a brownish-gold tone to it, and honestly, I’ve never seen a lip color like it. Definitely my least favorite shade.
But as far as the formula, it definitely adds a glint of shine to the lips, and the hydration element is awesome, thanks to the inclusion of cocoa and shea butters, and Vitamin E. The doe foot applicator allows for precise application even without a mirror. When I first apply it to my lips, it feels fast-absorbing and leaves behind a protective plant-based wax layer without any sticky feeling. Oh, and how could I forget the scent… Truly delectable. Gives me strong orange creamsicle vibes, so bonus points for that.

SERAPHINE BOTANICALS Goji + Galaxy Ethereal Glow Palette, 14 g - Retail Value $55.00

Wow, the shades in this Seraphine Botanicals Goji + Galaxy Ethereal Glow Palette are truly stunning. I love how many looks can be achieved using this one palette, and the shades are definitely my vibe. All four have this beautiful shimmery pastel look to them. As a highlighter palette, despite my love for the various shades, this product’s formula is a bit too creamy.
When it comes to highlighters, powders usually work best for me. The creamy texture of this palette causes the shades to slide right off my face since my skin is semi-oily to begin with. So, while I don’t think this product will work for me, this glow palette is lovely, with shades that are both buildable and smooth to the touch. Each shade applies easily with just a brush or fingers, and they are well-pigmented. If this formula works for you, you’ll probably love this palette.

REVIVA LABS Gently Exfoliating Fruit Enzyme Mask, 55 g - Retail Value $24.00

I’m a huge fan of face masks, especially sheet masks and wash-off masks like this one. This Gently Exfoliating Fruit Enzyme Mask from Reviva Labs is a high-quality product. When I applied this to my face, the first thing I noticed: the delicious scent. I appreciate that it’s not too harsh of a scent and not too overpowering. When scooping it out of the container, it has a very thin consistency and kind of feels like yogurt once on your face. A very refreshing sensation.
After a few minutes, I felt a slight tingling sensation. It takes about 15 minutes to dry down (you’ll know it’s ready once it disappears into your face, which is pretty cool), but once it did, I simply washed off my face and was left with clean, dewy, and glowy skin. Definitely quite hydrating. This has become a new favorite of mine.
BELLAPIERRE COSMETICS HD Finishing Powder, 6.5 g - Retail Value $29.99

Bellapierre Cosmetics is one of my favorite brands. I make finishing powder the last step in my makeup routine. I remember the first time I discovered the true wonders of a great powder, and I’ve never looked back. This translucent powder is perfect for any skin tone, which I appreciate, and it really keeps my makeup looking fresh and shine-free for much longer.
Even after a day of sweating in the hot California sun, this powder stands up to the test. I love how weightless it feels on my face too. I’ve also never had any kind of irritation from this, which is another win. This is my absolute favorite finishing powder by far, and I plan to use every last drop of this product.
Verdict
This was a great month for Nourish Beauty Box! The highlight for me was Bellapierre Cosmetics’ finishing powder. That’s my absolute go-to when it comes to setting my makeup, and I’m glad to have one of these in my stash again. Reviva Labs’ fruit enzyme mask is also a great product. I love that, despite being a clay mask, it’s incredibly gentle on my face and seems to suit sensitive skin like mine very well. The highlighter glow palette from Seraphine Botanicals is truly stunning, but the colors aren’t perfectly suited to my skin tone, so unfortunately I won’t get the full use out of this product. Lastly, the lip stain from Nourish Naturals… Although I love the hydrating formula, the color is not for me. Overall, I thought this was a nice box. The products included an old favorite and a new favorite of mine, along with two other high-quality products that unfortunately didn’t work for my skin tone. The value was definitely there, though.
