Hey there, pumpkin!
As a pumpkin farmer and autumn lover, this month's Vellabox encompassed all of my favorite things wrapped in one. Warm, cozy, sweet, and spicy are a few adjectives that come to mind when describing this month's box, and I am completely here for it. With shorter days and cooler evenings, the low glow of a candle is the exactly what I need to wind down from my busy day. Are these candles a bit more pricy than the big-box store brands? Yes, but I can tell you from months of experience that these 16 ounce candles last me over an entire month (when burning regularly), and our furnace filter is cleaner than ever. Not only are the scents incredible, but they also include a surprise gift and Spotify playlist, creating not just a box, but an entire experience.

Soy Much Brighter "Pumpkin Coffee" - Retail Value $30.00

I have to say, I am loving the muted October color tones on this month's candle label! With a groovy print and fun shape, this specific brand is a bit more lively than some of the other featured makers. Hand poured using 100% soy wax, Soy Much Brighter aims to make great-smelling fragrances that life moods and create memories all while keeping sustainability and affordability at the top of their priority list. Using premium fragrance oils, this month's "Pumpkin Coffee" version features notes of pumpkin, black coffee, and vanilla. While the scent throw isn't as strong as other brands of pumpkin candles, this version is by far my favorite. Pairing a warm spicy coffee flavor with that of sweet pumpkin is perfection, especially with the hint of vanilla that just takes it to the next level. Perfect for fall, this fragrance is definitely in my top 3!
Like I mentioned above, Soy Much Brighter create small-batch candles in the neighborhood of Beverly, MA. Using soy wax, phthalate-free fragrance oils, and cotton wicks, I feel good about burning this type of candle in my home. With a fragrance like this one, you can bet I will be checking out their other products!

As an antique collector and farm house owner, I was so excited to check out these little candle rugs. Designed to resemble mini ornate rugs, this totally matches my dining room rug and looks darling underneath my candles. With a thick pad on the back, this mat will protect delicate surfaces from getting too hot, and look really cute, especially with the addition of the tassels. My favorite surprise item to date, I am really excited about this inclusion!
Was This Box Worth It?
The Cost: $38
Vellabox is one of my favorite subscriptions, and again, this month was a home run. With a lovely, relaxing pumpkin scented candle, and the most adorable candle rugs I have ever laid eyes on, Vellabox has depicted fall absolutely perfectly. Between the candle, free gift, and Spotify playlist, I am left impressed. Because I utilize aromatherapy for anxiety (and have been really struggling with it the past few days), this truly is a life changer for me. I already can't wait to see what's in store for November!
Here are my babies on one of our fun rugs! Thankfully this one didn't come with tassels, or I'm sure they would have all been chewed off by now! Puppies...
