Beachly Lifestyle Box Winter 2023
Babes, thank goodness the Beachly Winter 2023 Lifestyle box is here to rescue me. It's not even December yet and outside my window, it's snowing. Where I live we're having about the gloomiest week imaginable, which you may notice in the lack of beautiful natural light in my photos. That's all the more reason I'm so grateful for the cheery, beach-centric delivery that just arrived.
This season returning customers have 4 customizable decisions to make, with a retail totaling up to $265, and new subscribers can select their 6 favorite items from the Winter collection, with the possibility of a $430 value inside.
The Dawn Hoodie by Rhythm (Customizable) - Listed Value $75
A cozy hoodie with a sunshine motif is about as "Beachly" as it gets, and why this sub lofts so many of us through winter. This is a Beachly exclusive from Rhythm, and while it's fuzzy and soft, it's somewhat lightweight, so honestly it would be great year-round.
I love those drawstrings and the slightly fitted cut.
Other Customizable Option
The alternative selection for this first customization option is this Beachly-exclusive throw blanket in the color of your choice.
The Sunrise Seashell Robe by Salt Sisters Co. (Customizable) - Listed Value $99
Another Beachly exclusive, this ridiculously soft robe is the perfect pairing to the space heater I keep in my bathroom all winter. I was starry-eyed over this robe because I haven't had one in years—I'd made a few attempts at ordering some off Amazon, but they were all too bulky or too rough. This one is none of the above—it's dreamy. If you flip through the photos above you'll see a close-up of inner ribbon ties to keep this robe closed even if the outer belt loosens. And the seashell imprint on the back is the stuff of beach motel dreams.
It's a nice length—just above my knees (I'm 5'3", so it might be a bit more "mini" on taller people). I may not have chosen this coral-pink color for myself, but how perfectly does it go with my shower curtain? Meant to be.
Other Customizable Option
The throw blanket options are the alternative option to the robe, too!
The Malibu Salt Scrub by C & the Moon, 2 fl oz - Listed Value $22
I've got salt scrubs going strong over here. The one I use most often is a giant jar that lives on a shelf near my shower, but it's a chaotically oily, leaky situation that is not transportable. So when we inevitably spend weekends with various family members this holiday season, I will not be bringing it along—I'll bring this 2 oz one here instead! What's inside is so good: brown sugar for exfoliation, coconut oil for replenishment, almond oil, jojoba seed oil, and more. The hydrating oils are organic, and the sweet scent is courtesy of food-grade vanilla. This jar is a Beachly custom size but you can buy a bigger jar outside the sub.
Other Customizable Options
If you're not up for the sugar scrub, your other options are a hibiscus-embroidered scarf or hat.
The Beach Dweller Candle by salt+umber (Customizable) - Listed Value $25
Exclusives on exclusives! Next up is this small candle in a ceramic jar. The scent is sandalwood musk, which manifests as something somehow both warm and light. I love the speckled matte finish of the jar, it matches my favorite handmade mug.
Here it is nestled in with my fall decorations.
Other Customizable Option
Your other option is a mini palm with a hydroponic system built into its vase.
The Pineapple Keychain by Island Haus Co - Retail Value $16
I personally don't have much use for keychains—I just have my keys attached to a carabiner and try to keep the jingly stuff to a minimum. But my five-year-old daughter is a different story! Her backpack is full of 'em, and she was more than happy to add this pineapple to the collection.
The Waiehu Mikiao Nail File Set By Iwi Nails — Retail Value $10
Emory boards feel like something I always need but never want to invest in. Plus, this trio is cuter than anything I might find at Target! All three are double-sided and feature ʻAhaʻaha (Miter), Pūpū Pōniuniu (Hebrew Cone), and Wana (Urchin). This company is Hawaiian and carbon neutral. They mostly sell gel press-ons and gel strips for nail decorations, and the designs are so cute.
Verdict
The Winter Beachly box was a great time. I think my most-used item will be the robe, but I love the tasteful candle. The hoodie is amazing, but each time I put it on I felt it belonged on my close friend, whose favorite & most-worn color is light blue. She adores it so I'm pumped I'll get to see her wear it often! Tons of wonderful customizations in this box, as always.
