First Impressions

This month included an activity sheet and a welcome sheet introducing the contents of the box. The activity for this month  is "Learning Routines." Little Feminist included some visual cues for daily activities to cut out and show to your bub.

What's Inside This Box

Mazal Bueno! by Sarah Aroeste – Retail Value $8.99

This book is a short one with only ten pages, but it was Win's favorite this month. She loves the illustrations, especially the pages with that sweet little dog. This book features Ladino words, the language of the Sephardic Jewish community. Each page celebrates a new milestone for baby with encouraging parents and an excited baby.

Littles and How They Grow by Kelly DiPucchio – Retail Value $17.99

This book is an adorable journey, looking at the daily activities and routines a "little" might enjoy in a day. At the end of the book, it says that littles get big with the blink of an eye, and boy, isn't that the truth! Win and Ro both liked the rhythm of each rhyming page, and they were fascinated by all of the different babies. The illustrations are very cute and diverse and were enjoyed by us all.

Discussion Questions

Little Feminist Book Club includes discussion questions for each book every month. You receive two cards that follow the book's themes and provide questions to discuss with your little reader about their reading experience and other topics to consider. This month's topics are observe and caring. Each card asks questions to help continue our discussions about each book. These questions are age-appropriate and help to get your kids engaged.

The Verdict

Little Feminist Book Club always provides us with books with diversity and culture. I love receiving books that help us to slow down and appreciate the different phases our babies go through.

After shipping, this subscription adds up to $26.90 a month; if you don't mind paying the price for excellent curation and content, then this subscription may be worth your investment. The subscription holds a value that doesn't always monetarily meet its cost, but I appreciate the service.

I’m a self-proclaimed “cool mom” who loves a little, who am I kidding, a lot of razzle-dazzle. I have been box-obsessed for over 10 years, and I am always on the hunt for new beauty, fun flair and trendy clothing boxes. A fun night for me includes an exfoliating foot mask and a bag of Dot's Pretzels while binging Rupaul’s Drag Race.
